Yes exactly! I feel like Loona's creative team is composed of young talented individuals that are not really fan of generic pop and instead goes for, like you said euro pop and in loonatic indie pop. I really imagine them to be like more our age.

SCL is truly a pop masterpiece. This could have been sung by random american artist It would have topped the charts. It is so good, everything in it, not only the song but the MV is so pleasing, it tells a story, they don't overdue things, just right at its place and right in time. Whatever will happen to Loona, they already gave us some amazing and daring tunes. New, Egoist, Eclipse, Singing In The Rain, Sweet Crazy Love... I mean I could list almost all of their songs actually, even the 1/3 girls don't give us the expected cute/sweet girl lolilta, it has some interesting layers they didn't have to put but they put it and it's so tasteful to my ears.

Their pre debut concept was fire, all of solo songs and early songs had that feeling. The feel they don't have anymore, producer is so important.
I’ve yet to be disappointed by a loona song. Every song sounds like they put an insane amount of effort into it. The millions of dollars invested into them really paid off.

Did you notice how the colors showed up when they finally met each other? They were also looking sad throughout the video because they weren't together. And the end of the music video is KIM LIP'S ECLIPSE. UGH THEIR MINDS. And honestly I absolutely agree with what you said about American pop music, and I feel like if LOONA were bigger and mainstream media was more accepting towards POC artists (which it's starting to be) from everywhere this song could've been a hit, or in other words, if an American artists sung this song it would've been a hit because it's SO GOOD. The whole mini album is! Chaotic is THAT bitch btw 😤💯🔥

The creativity in production in Loona songs is why I like them so much, all their songs sound so different from other kpop groups that it keeps me so invested in their music

Hell yes. The song & mv that really got me into K-pop. I dabbled here and there, but when this came out it completely changed my outlook on K-pop and got me hooked.

Giving each girls the posibility to showcase their voices, different styles /genre of music for each.
A plot line and Cinematography for fans to explore, talk about, trying to put the puzzle together....the concept is Just Fun in Kpop world saturated of same concepts !
Yes, this is probably my favorite Loona song as well, and I completely agreed with all of the points you made. This is the one that really made me want to explore this group more, along with the betrayer song, Love Cherry Motion haha.
My favorite Loona tracks till this day, the arrangement and the melody and the progression of the song is just a masterpiece. To me this song is ahead of its time, would’ve been a great song to show people when they debut but I’m happy either way even if it’s a predebut song and a subunit song 👍🙌

This is honestly my favorite loona song, I personally find it way better than girl front. So far, for the units their repackage songs are better than their debut songs so I can’t wait to see what’s in store for yyxy!

Your reaction to this song was honest to god me... I was literally driven speechless by the amazingness of the song and then at the end the amazing colors and the girl’s beauty. Still my favorite of all the loona songs even after listening to the entirety of their discography.
Though Sweet Crazy Love isn't really my cup of tea, I really thought it would be their most popular song. It's so well-made with a catchy beat and melody and chorus. The instrumental is so amazing and pleasant to listen to. Beautiful MV and dance as well. Amazing girl crush visuals that I thought would dominate people's hearts.

valerie They did love the music video, the concept and the fact that our girls did it despite Korea's homophobic tendencies. They also said that they could feel "the desperation in Chuu's voice", if I recall properly ( the live stream was ages ago ). PD makes lesbian themed short films and has a very good understanding of the lesbians' psyche, thus he vibed with the MV. I apologize if you didn't want that spoiler.
