Around 12:30 mark where you guys question where the "trade 1% of your account" philosophy originated. That originated from sports gambling. There's no such thing as a stop loss in binary outcome sports gambling. In trading, you can technically put your entire account into a single trade, then exit when you're down 10%. In sports gambling, betting a large % of your account is a guaranteed way to blow your account.
I don’t know anything about sports betting but 1% risk is CTA industry standard. In fact, most risk 0.5% of their equity per trade. And that’s determined through rigorous backtesting which can be replicated by anyone with a testing engine.
You can’t avoid liking this guy 🤪🤪 11:30 - 13:00 is a Lightbulb moment! I have never heard anyone explain it in this way before. That makes a ton of sense. I need to listen to this interview once a week from now on until I am 3500 a point 🫡

What interview was that, at the beginning of the video where you have those playback intros of the other traders talking? He said, "Candlestick pattern trading is a freaking trap". Need to see this interview, because I don't have context, so I don't know whether he is talking about patternicity or talking trash about reading price action.
Tom Hougaard is now one of my trading heroes along with Stacey Burke, both different but both special. I'm curious though, could Tom not use several brokers and mirror software to take the same trade on several accounts 🤔 that way he could increase his account? I worked out with daily gains of 5-10% in 1 year you could turn 5k into 1 billion( Conservative figure) with compounding risk. Sounds like you would need several brokers to achieve this. Any ideas?
