Another nitpick, sorry. To help people design - go through the process of picking the heatsink...look at a table and say "we need at least 26 deg/Watt with this surface area and this height limitation, so these will work". The arbitrary HS choice was confusing, especially when the point of the video is the clarify HS choice
Absolutely great video, spécialité de la maison, Creme de la creme. I'm alone in the comment section but that works.
not alone anymore
@@derekk2666 I did not, need it. But I appreciate it anyway.
It takes true courage to be the first comment! Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching!
What a great explanation of the maths !
Great explanation with awesome presentation. Thanks a lot for this video..
Thanks for the clear explanation, much appreciated!
Glad it was helpful! We appreciate the feedback.
Very helpful. Thanks so much
great video
thank you for the video
do heatsink thickness matter ?
thank you
Thankyou! appreciated
Do you choose 60°C as ambient in order to give you some more headroom? Assuming that all environments won't be an ideal 25°C?
60°C was more of an example value for the calculations. Actual environments would be a lower temperature, but the calculations would be the same.
Bro - start with the symbolic equation next time please. Its hard to adapt your example without it.
