But my oh my, am I loving this new Arteta regime. The confidence and swag is not back to 100% but you can see signs of it coming. I do believe Arteta has the ability to make the best out of this team. Auba will stay 🤞
You can see he was shy at the beginning. Not easy to come to Arsenal, EPL with all that expectation. Even Henry took a while to warm up. That's why a coach can be so important to boost the morale of players like Pepe, give them confidence. I'm excited about the future, because I think Arteta is exactly the right coach for us. Demanding but nurturing.

No team could afford to lose their two main strikers in one transfer window. The new replacement would need time to adapt with the club on and off the pitch. Having a veteran striker would help ease up the new guy immensely in the transition process.

This makes me miss football even more. We were picking up momentum with Arteta before the lockdown. Defence was still a problem but we looked sharper and more like a unit. Hopefully we pick up from where we left off once we restart. COYG!!

I like how even the players know Mikel is different (1:00) which is what the team needs right now. He may not be the best coach yet but he definitely has the tools to become one.
