    These are good, I'm fed up of steel and wood frames. Rusty and filthy, easy to break. And they are heavy!

      Heavy is more like it. The key to success for future technology is less weight, which means less energy used in moving the required equipment.

    Where are the insulation, plumbing, electric conduit, Airconditions, etc..?
    The external vibrator will not reach down the bottom of these tall walls!.
    Pouring concrete should be done on stages ( at least 2 ) .
    But the idea can be modified/ improved.

    • @delightfulThoughs
      @delightfulThoughs 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The actual problem is the electrical conduit for outlets, lights, switches not to mention the pipes for fresh, gray and black water that should be very very carefully planned and have several extra just in case because once the concrete is poured there is no way back and to run a cable or a pipe on the face of the wall just doesn't look good.
      I can see the cost savings. I have seen first hand a building being built with a very similar system and I use to work in the building after it was finished. It was a 3 story restaurant and they did it very fast when started. I have no idea how long the planning took.

    The construction method was similar to Kumkang Kind which i work for nearly 10 years. Compare to conventional method which are using plywood, wood and nails, this method was really fast which is 3 to 4 times faster. As my experience, normally we manage to raise 4 level per month easily. And for an Apartment that have 10 level, it just take 1 year to complete it all from concrete to finishing (painting, installing windows, doors and tiles).

    Saw the power boxes, but where do the wires run? Plumbing? Put together, take apart, it most add to the overall bill. I think the foam block system would be better.

    • @steamsteam6607
      @steamsteam6607 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The advantage with this over polystyrene block concrete builds is that this can do the floor and underlying walls at the same time. Possibly also the door and window openings are way easier and better with this sort of Alulinium system compared to foam blocks. Maybe the extra cost doesn't isn't justified by the few days of time you may win with that as it only workds for few story residential buildings anyways. You can of course just run the pipes and pour the concrete over or grind the wiring in later but this is a thing with almost all kinds of construction isn't it?

  • @steamsteam6607
    @steamsteam6607 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    It is only for a few floors, residential though the aluminium otherwise zouldn't hold the load of all the floors while the concrete sets. Otherwise your building takes too long to comlplete. At least that's what I think. Very interesting, cool concept. Full concrete construction is great for soundproofing, fireproofing, durability etc. To optimise it just needs a good thermal insulation system that at the same time reuces the amount of concrete needed. You can of course just insulate the outside against the concrete but it would be nice. Maybe this is more cost and few advantages over foam polystyrene block concrete builds or is it?
    Maybr doorways and stairs are better and easier with aluminium concrete formwork? I would ike to see them compared.

    How much cost total for this house

  • @Netlogic.
    @Netlogic. 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Literally half the comments: "Durrrrrrr it's gonna be expensive with all that aluminium" If you're too stupid to realize it's just a mould and gets reused, don't worry you couldn't afford a house anyways as you're probably too stupid to hold any kind of meaningful job. Anyways the biggest issue I see is professional competence among the workers a builder employs. People trained in brick are going to have a hard time learning the tricks of concrete, especially since you can't see inside the walls until you remove the forms. By that time any fuck up will be permanent and catastrophic. With brick walls or even wooden walls any fuck ups can be caught before they become a huge issue. What would be cool is clear acrylic panels, or at least the bottom 1 meter of the panel acrylic, so you could see any voids as they pour the concrete. Yes you can vibrate the outside of the aluminium mould, but you don't know where it needs it, or for how long to vibrate.

    • @sverduijn1
      @sverduijn1 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Why would it be so difficult to pour the concrete? Just in places like the staircase you might need to think a bit but for the rest it's straightforward as can be. And if there are voids they could fill those up later with concrete. By putting a plate against the hole and pumping concrete through a hole.
      What I would like to see is a more interesting mould panel. They could put silicone layer on the aluminum with a brick pattern maybe. Or insert foam insulation etc.

    I would like to order a template based on a finished concept! Single-storey, 3-room house 100 sqm, SABLON house! Could this be?

    At what point do you realize that the set of forms you bought only cast a very limited set of floor plans. You can't get your skill saw out and start slicing off big chunks of aluminum and still make money.
    This tech is limited to places where a system exists for placing large amounts of concrete at high above grade forms (Imagine 4 guys with a shovel and buckets filling this up). So it is strictly metropolitan regions with infrastructure that allows room for a pump and ready mix truck.
    Aluminum forms are really nice for high end jobs, but how many high end buyers want a solid concrete house?
    They sorta skipped over how they fastened the electrical to the form work, did they drill the aluminum? What held the doors and windows in place?

    The video is not complete. What about all those support struts holding up the ceiling -- they're still in place.
