Ruby, thank you for the lovely recipe. I tried making it in a cake pan but my dhokra had reddish layer on top. I used bottle lemon juice and my garlic and ginger paste always turns greenish after a while. It also has a bit of vinegar which I put to preserve it. Could the red colour be due to lemon juice or vinegar? Am so puzzled! Thank you.
