I didn't think Zada was an interesting commander until I saw someone cast a cantrip on her and draw 7 cards. Had no idea that's how you were suppose to build her, super cool stuff! I'd probably add Krark the thumbless just for fun!
I love the Zada deck. I think she is a unique commander choice that totally vibes with the things that red wants. I especially love her as a commander option because she doesn't see play because there is some steep competition for good goblin commanders.
Me: has 2 different mono red decks, never had a deck with white in it

Great deck tech! However, gravitic punch would not copy with Zada because it has two targets, Zada and the player the spell is hitting.
I'm all for Zada! I've made a concept version of her and would ADORE taking her to my LGS!
Zada is the first deck I ever built for someone else, so she's near and dear to my heart. And the results always impress the table!
@@CommanderMechanic She's a firecracker, that's for sure! It's hard taking her to the table sometimes because she either didn't get her draw, or she plays 30 cards in a turn!

So stars in my version are (not in this order)
Young pyromancer, spawning breath (with titan's strength), dwarven mine, pyro blast, tempt with vengeance, empty the warrens, and insult // injury
Sudden shock can turn off people going off with combos, too, but you need a keen eye for what's about to happen.
Overall, I could do some last-ditch mono-red extra turns, but when things start happening, I can win all on that same turn!
I have two Zada decks. One is all out near cedh. The other is foil only, meaning if i cant afford the foil or the card is not made in foil, it is not in the deck. The foil one is goblin tribal. The other is storm.
I’ve got two mono-red decks, but they’re both burn decks (Torbran and Syr Carah), and my spellslinger decks are Izzet or Jeskai, so seeing a mono-red non-burn spellslinger is cool.
I wonder whether Fire Diamond is worth including as ramp - a lot of the ramp in the deck makes colourless mana, abs you don’t want to run out of red to sling loads of spells.
Another card worth considering would be Blades of Velis Vel - it pumps all your creatures and gives them all creature types to synergise with the goblin tribal theme.

fall of the hammer wouldn't work because it has 2 targets so zada wouldn't copy it.
I've been looking to make a Mono Red goblins deck but I haven't been a fan of all the straightforward variants I found. I really like how this one thinks outside of the box... I'll have to try it!
Another excellent list! Other potential inclusions I'd consider are Otherworldly Outburst and Young Pyromancer. Although Otherworldly Outburst is a bit more situational (and only fits 1 or 2 "zones" of quadrant theory..I think) it has to be an excellent way to stick it to the opponent that thinks they are about to clear your board (assuming you have amassed some sort of token army by then).
I'm surprised you're not running brightstone ritual... Especially if you're in a goblin tribal...
Now we have toys like Sudden Breakthrough to jump our mana. Also Involuntary Employment to untap and gain treasures. Obviously I love this card and it went right into my feather deck.
I'm not sure if Fall of the hammer works because of how its worded it wouldnt trigger Zada.
FALL OF THE HAMMER: "Target creature you control deals damage equal to its power to ANOTHER TARGET creature."
ZADA: "Whenever you cast an instant or sorcery spell that TARGETS ONLY Zada, Hedron Grinder, copy that spell for each other creature etc"

Correct. Once you have to pick a second target, that null's Zada's ability.
Uhh, great deck :O I like goblins :D I think a great card would be Muxus, expensive, but a great option XD And the Boggart shenanigans is a good enchantment to play with :) Great vid!! I'd like to hear from a judge how Seize the Day would or wouldn't work in this deck. I think it would create a combat step for each creature you control but each would only be able to attack up to 2 times (without vigilance or an effect to untap) because of the stack being empty due to the stack being empty as each step and phase ends. P.s. also the copies each only grant 1 untap even if they would stay on stack through phases. Maybe I am misunderstsnding this all.
You are correct. Each only untaps once per cast - but it's a way to get two or three FULL combats with all your creatures (and all their pumps). You get multiple combats but you'll move through the majority of them without doing anything.
I liked the deck before, and after the explanation and understanding some card choices, I'm in love!! I need it in my life!!! And for upgrading the deck, that's hard... There are already good alternative plans and the deck itself is build very well, at least from what I know. Maybe the best think I think I would add is the new card Birgi, god of storytelling. Makes all your cards rituals, so even more free cards to cast. It would be like runaway steam-kin. Another thing would be another card like heat shimmer, to combo with dualcaster mage and get infinite creatures (untill you copy another creature) or maybe just a damage doubler like torbran, thane of red fell, or fiery emancipation. Any way, this would just be adding more elements that could make the deck nicer, but for sure the deck just doesn't need them as it is already. Love it!
Zada is awesome. Goblins! Spellslinging! Aggression! and most importantly: DRAW CARDS! It's always been one on my radar, under the massive list of commanders I would build if I was not a poor college student lol. But if I was to make this deck my own (it's not really an upgrade if your idea makes the deck worse right?) I would like to at least try out some "splice onto arcane effects" There are 4 (technically 5 but the 5th would kill your board) red arcane spells that could target zada. then you have some prime effects to splice onto them, such as "add 3 red mana", "Put a creature card from your hand onto the battlefield for a turn", or "deal 4 damage to any creature. I figure with how much the deck draws, you could probably see them come up fairly often. If we had access to blue then I feel this strategy would be better, but it would be fun to try it out. Love the videos, pretty new to watching them, it was enjoyable and easy to follow!
I would add... less Lands because I’m greedy and want more spells! But also Pyroblast!

Just found a new card that would be awesome in this deck, empty the warrens. It's 4 mana, but with the storm ability, it can really be worth it!

Rule check: if you have 5 creatures on board and target Seize the Day on Zada, don’t you get 5 additional combat phases?
Correct, but only ONE extra untap. There's no untap associated with the combat phase.

@@CommanderMechanic i just realize Kari Zev's Expertise could untap all your creatures. Having both cards is unlikely but it's another scenario.
i don't think Fall of the Hammer works with Zada because it has 2 targets.
same goes for Gravitic Punch and i'm not sure about Overblaze either. Sorry to be a bubble burst-er, Zada is a sweet deck and I enjoyed your decklist a lot
You may be right about Gravitic Punch & Fall of the Hammer, but I'm certain Overblaze works properly (as it only has 1 target)
