Honestly they marketed this film as a new setting for the evil dead franchise, but fans and viewers of the tv series know that Evil Dead works way beyond the woods. That show had so many set pieces and settings. Everything from the small urban town all the way to an insane asylum. This new movie is just another proven detail that you don’t need the woods or Bruce Campbell to carry Evil Dead. What makes evil dead is the creativity, necronomicon, and the deadites. As those are all core to the identity of the franchise. The rest is left up to director or writer to use those tools to make something great. The only reason these films have managed to continue with good to great success is still Ramis and Bruce and Rob’s producing. As producing is the shot caller on creative decisions

Evil Dead is…my favorite horror franchise. much love for you 2 and what you created!! The original Evil Dead was the first movie to make me run out of a room! I was a little kid and my older sister wanted to rent scary movies, so we did. No joke! I could not watch it at that age. Later I watch the whole thing and LOVED it! And I love you guys for that!
I want Sam Raimi to direct Avengers Secret Wars. Please Mr Kevin Fiege make it happen. He would be perfect. For a lot of reasons. Mainly not only for reuniting with mr Maguire, but his storytelling and creative process is unmatched. Which is why the Raimi trilogy movies were successful. I didn’t think Spider-Man 3 is not that bad in my honest opinion. I know critics hated it. But it was not mr Raimi’s fault. He tried to make the movie perfect like the first two. If the studio did not interfere, and put unnecessary ideas that would lose the focus of the plot of the movie. Than Spider-Man 3 would have been a great film. And four would’ve have been released years ago. But mr Sam Raimi has moved on from the past. And now he is back better than ever. Which is good. I don’t think he wants to look back at something almost 17 years ago that he knows he was not responsible for. But he can now use his excellent story telling and creative experience to make Avengers Secret Wars the best movie of all time. I would honestly hire one member of the Russo brothers and Sam Raimi to direct secret wars, and there you will have a movie that will be a masterpiece. Because these guys know how to tell stories, as they are not people that hates things to be rushed. Hopefully mr Kevin Fiege can allow it.

Its amazing how the Evil Dead has remained consistent in quality for so long while other Horror franchises have fell off or have very confusing continuity between films.
Sam: I think what makes the movie unique is that the antagonists feed off of tormenting people and inflicting mental anguish Bruce: THERE’S LOTS OF BLOOD
When it comes to Horror, Sam Raimi always the first name that came up in my mind. May you live long Mr. Raimi so that you'd produced & directed more interesting horror movies in the upcoming years
More evil dead boys Dont wait 10 years again Im 55 yrs old i saw the original when i was in high school i love this franchise i have all these movies and tv shows i just keep watching them over and over
I love how Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell are willing to hand their legacy over to new writers, directors and actors; and also to sing their praises. It shows a generosity of spirit and a humility that is endearing.
So what made the Evil Dead films great was Ash.....without him its just a run of the mill gore party, he is what made it fun. Give me some sugar baby !
Loved it, if you're expecting to see a c level horror flick with bad makeup and cheesy acting from the 80s this isn't for you. This is a beautifully shot, dark story, with woven dark humor and situations that you could see yourself in, made to feel all the more brutal with the use of practical effects and fantastic acting even from the kids. (who will need therapy after this one for sure) Also a great opening that set the scene perfectly. Ps. The maruader (won't spoil) is a fantastic addition to the Deadite family and is completely fucked 🤣
If anyone's curious, I can't read it well until I find clear screenshots, but Lee Cronin seemed to have used the ancient Irish writing script called Ogham for the Book of the Dread in the new movie. Ogham letters were based on fucking trees. This series and fucking trees lol. The new film is so fucking cool, I love gnarly touches like that!
One thing that can be said is that these were the Necronomicons deadites at their strongest. Bc usually the possession happens while the victims are still alive. Thats how its always been. The deaths of the possessed dont occur until the possession is complete. But in Rise, the bodies get hijacked regardless if theyre still alive or not. And normally a deadite "dies" once the head is destroyed. But one girl got pierced in her skull and got back up. Thats terrifying right there and emphasizes the fact that they can only be stopped through total dismemberment and "Mulching" I mean good god...
As good as the last 2 movies are, I truly feel that we need Bruce as a character somehow in them... hopefully if they make another one, Bruce will be in it
4:20....your bloody right we want to see more of him...see even Sam knows the fans want more Ash ....I'd love just one more Evil Dead film with Bruce just to finish Ash's story....
They need to let raimi do the exorcist not that halloween hack, Dr Strange woulda been much better and scarier if Marvel didnt scale him back alot is what i heard. Imagine Bruce as an exorcist priest but on some old video the vatican has they say theirs all kinds of exorcist implying Ash was one even unknowingly expelling the deadites. Lit. Trade mark idea
Evil dead without Bruce campbell is dead as good ... We don't even get a evil dead single player AAA game ... It's sad to witness that no one see the great potential in this serie
Plz make the KHANDHAR ESTRADA NEKTUNE ringringtone to the zedge app . Still not there . I needed that in the promotion time . ( Im a horror creator on Twitch )
There was even talk of how to get Ash into the movie. And he's in the movie, on the vinyl. Hes the guy who shouts "IT'S CALLED THE BOOK OF THE DEAD! DESTROY IT!" But you couldn't have the hero comic relief Ash turn up to save the day. I love the way he emboddies Ash! "Whats the best way to kill them?" 😂😂😂😂
Sam has to be ecstatic that the movie that was only supposed to get his foot in the door and shot with rudimentary effects is still a pretty big deal in 2023.
Chemistry between them was a big part of the appeal of Evil Dead. Without it, without Ash in the movies, nothing feels great. It lacks this important element **IN MY OPINION**
M Knight is a great example of a director who can do the technical but can't coach the actors. Thus great actors like Gibson, Phoenix, Hurt, etc. who require little direction can still give great performances but then someone like a Mark Wahlberg who needs a coaching director like Scorsese or Mann gives us a performance like The Happening.

@@TheJurassicSquadYT it is his opinion. And it’s a bad opinion. I want Bruce to play in a few quality movies involving the franchise.

@@CoolGobyFish Ash vs Evil dead was great
When it comes to Horror, Sam Raimi always the first name that came up in my mind. May you live long Mr. Raimi so that you'd produced & directed more interesting horror movies in the upcoming years
Is it me or can bruce Campbell still get it!!!❤hail to the king baby
i could watch Bruce all day long, such a funny guy.
Hi!
@@BESTMoviesOfficiaYT 👋Hi!
@@Xantylon74 I'm a Bruce fan! And a movie. Watched parts 1 and 2 and 3. 3 I liked the comedy.
2 legends on screen right there. Love them
Meeting Bruce and getting his autograph is one of my crowning achievements.
We need season 4
I hope to work with Bruce Campbell one day. Be a fan since his voice acting in the Spider Man video games when I was a child
Please Bruce, Ash has to come back.
Thank you for uploading this. Love these two fellows! And loved the movie!
All I see is Spider-Man 4 with these guys 🔥😧
Bruce is starting to look like his character in Bubba Ho Tep .,....
Bruce looking like a rock star, Sam looking like a vaudeville actor ilove it
I need Season 4 for Ash vs. Evil Dead please!
It's been edited so they get cut-off mid sentence, would of been a good interview but half the answers are missing
(who will need therapy after this one for sure)
Also a great opening that set the scene perfectly.
Ps. The maruader (won't spoil) is a fantastic addition to the Deadite family and is completely fucked 🤣
I called it the "Cronenite" lol
That’s literally what it is.
*the unusual deadite that appeared in the last 20 minutes?
Oh Jesus, is that what that freaky thing is called? lolol😊
Sad to see these guys getting old
Bruce Cambell looks like live action Uncle Stan, and that's hot.
Thats terrifying right there and emphasizes the fact that they can only be stopped through total dismemberment and "Mulching"
I mean good god...
Was so awesome!
Ash got possessed alive in ED 2
Pablo stabs Kelly’s mom in the head with a knife in aved and she still pursues them.
Bruce sat there looking like he's got an interview in the morning and needs to whack a guy in the afternon
The person who edited this was deaf and blind
Bruce is turning into a grumpy old man.
As good as the last 2 movies are, I truly feel that we need Bruce as a character somehow in them... hopefully if they make another one, Bruce will be in it
He said he's done
He said he will if Sam directs, + the show is getting more seasons but animated
4:20....your bloody right we want to see more of him...see even Sam knows the fans want more Ash ....I'd love just one more Evil Dead film with Bruce just to finish Ash's story....
I want to meet Bruce Campbell so bad!!
Evil Dead Rise was so awesome, another great entry in a franchise with no bad films, all the Evil Dead films are fantastic
"Give me some sugar baby"...❤❤❤😁
WE LOVE BRUCE CAMPBELL AND HIS CHARACTER, ASH SO MUCH
They need to let raimi do the exorcist not that halloween hack, Dr Strange woulda been much better and scarier if Marvel didnt scale him back alot is what i heard. Imagine Bruce as an exorcist priest but on some old video the vatican has they say theirs all kinds of exorcist implying Ash was one even unknowingly expelling the deadites. Lit. Trade mark idea
You can tell how much these two old bitties love each other and love their silly bloody movies and that makes me so happy
Its a must see movie believe me, very intense and entertaining. I wish if bruce had some Cameo appearance in the film...
He did! 2 infact
Bruce looks like a Italian mob boss :D
I really want to see the continuation of Ash vs Evil Dead Season 3. I don't mind if it's Season 4 or something else.
Man, I'd do anything for another Ash vs Evil Dead season...
more will be coming but aniamted
They should do a movie showing how the book came to be locked away in the bank vault.
Bruce Campbell looks like Jim Jones
Bruce is turning into my grandfather.
I love these guys, they inspire me to make my own stuff.
Hail to the Bruce baby!
My heroes that scared the living shit outta me when I was a kid that's from my state Michigan.. The first evil dead was shot upper Michigan..
There was even talk of how to get Ash into the movie.
And he's in the movie, on the vinyl.
Hes the guy who shouts "IT'S CALLED THE BOOK OF THE DEAD! DESTROY IT!"
But you couldn't have the hero comic relief Ash turn up to save the day.
I love the way he emboddies Ash!
"Whats the best way to kill them?" 😂😂😂😂
Sam has to be ecstatic that the movie that was only supposed to get his foot in the door and shot with rudimentary effects is still a pretty big deal in 2023.
I watch them for Bruce Campbell. He is a great actor.
Chemistry between them was a big part of the appeal of Evil Dead. Without it, without Ash in the movies, nothing feels great. It lacks this important element **IN MY OPINION**
Bruce stay young forever buddy
two legends
Just saw the movie with my cousin. It was awesome. I keep thinking there could be a multiverse of Evil Dead. That would be cool too.
Its similar to the Grudge when the spirit was able to travel past the haunted house from part one. The world is in big trouble.
When I saw people walking out of the theater disgusted. I was like, yeah This is an evil dead movie.
If you haven't seen it already. Evil Dead Rise was a blast, and I hope they continue with the franchise. The director of rise deserves to do a sequel.
wasint it the same one that did the remake?
@@AdrianStjarnfaldtnah 2013 was Fede Alvarez, rise was Lee Cronin
M Knight is a great example of a director who can do the technical but can't coach the actors. Thus great actors like Gibson, Phoenix, Hurt, etc. who require little direction can still give great performances but then someone like a Mark Wahlberg who needs a coaching director like Scorsese or Mann gives us a performance like The Happening.
The new one was AMAZING. Absolutely loved it
