I’m 45 and I was a teenager when they became famous and could not stand listening to them at that time and now I listen to them and get tears in my eyes because it reminds me of the times and experiences I had when I was young and realize now what a great band they really were

It must be beyond frustrating to be known as the one with the angelic voice and go from that to your body not willing to keep up with your heart and soul when preforming and what comes out is nothing like it used to be. Though, to be fair, I think his voice is getting stronger now than it was in this video. He has courage beyond his years. Go Brian!

Got some vocal condition called tension dysphonia. Causes the muscles around the vocal chords to tense up. He seems to be getting better though.

Nick's voice is really nice. There's extra depth in his voice now compared to the past, and I love it. It seems that Howie and Nick are the main ones whose voices have aged well in the band.
Just in case you didn't know, Brian suffers from a disorder that constricts his vocal cords - it's not something that can be cured, and he's gone through surgeries and still to this day, is going through treatments. AJ's reasons is due to when he was going through a rough time with drugs.
I actually think AJ sounds better now than when they first started out. His deeper voice contrasts the others well.
