Haha its beautifull stuff but I kinda laugh when he says: As you can see it has a 6.1 inch screen. Oh jeah clearly I noticed that extra 0.1 inch immediatly, anyone with me?
I literally built a 30 year very busy DJ business in nyc using the following (playing devices) 1) Technics 1200mk2s 1989-present (hip hop scratch jobs) 2) Technics 1210 M5Gs 2008-present (any job where the client requested turntables with digital vinyl code. And a lot of ppl have been requesting records again) 3) pioneer CDJ 2000s every other job since buying my pair in 2011. I love these sooo F-in much). I tried the nexus but sold them after 2 years. The regular CDJ 2000 is the best. Never broke down. Wish I could say the same about the nexus.
CDJ 2000 x2,DJM 800,EFX 1000,HDJ 2000,Serato and Mac...this is my setup in my room!! oh wait....it's only my DREAM setup, not my actually setup ;P hope one day i can buy one of these...
my friend is a dj and is gonna teach me how since i run an EDM night at this bar over here. gonna get to use his cdj2000's, djm800 and macbook pro with serato .this vid is making me more hyped for my initial practice sesh tonight
Got my pair of cdj 2000 today! It is the best looking cdj I have ever seen! The LCD display Helps A LOT, you can browse the CD like browsing an IPOD. 2 thinks that realy desapointed me: needle search, you can only use it if the track is on pause mode, or if you are playing the track on vinyl mode than press the jog wheel than use the needle search, you can not search the track on regular play mode. Most desapointing thing, the software redbox, can not be controled by the CDJ 2000 yet!
@brianonlinenl I had the same issue and i just checked the pioneer CDJ2000 FAQ and it says that NTFS format is not supported. Perhaps you could reformat in FAT? Should work :)
I'm glad to see its 2010 and Pioneer is finally catching up to what Native Instruments and Virtual DJ has already done for six years. There is nothing offered on this hardware that you can't already do via software and time coding your decks to it (You also save a crap load of money). You could use that 5 grand you would blow on these to, you know, build an actual studio in your basement and produce your own music instead of playing other people's.
Hey People, Any1 know the answer to my question? I've got two Pioneer CDJ 1000s and a Pioneer DJM 800 mixer, I just bought Serato Scratch Live SL3 and its in the post, so me question is... Having the decks, mixer + serato i have, will this do everything the Pioneer CDJ 2000's will? Or more...?
@Dazlen1 SD cards do not have playback on the 1000's. They save cue points and that's it. The 2000s wil have playback along with the other gazillion features
Dude my friend has these things Rock I just put money down on 2 of them I just upgrade my mixer to the djm800 these will be the stanard cdjs at clubs as well they ran me $1850 ea. But now I'll have a laptop and two 1200's and now two cdj2000 soon
Okay, so I hooked up my external harddisk (LaCIE 1TB drive) to the CDJ2000 and pressed USB to get to my USB device but it said "no device". The harddisk works on a regular PC though. What am I doing wrong? Do I NEED to have Rekordbox installed on the external harddisk in order for the CDJ2000 to recognize it? Help anyone?
good aft, i have an issue with random looping when i scratch and/or move the platter to cue up. also, the sound cuts off unless i hold the needle search. do u have any ideas on how i can fix this? i have cdj 2000s.
Cont. Pionner sends a peace of paper along with the instruction manual stating that they are trying to improve the software redbox, and that you should check pioneer website fon regular bases for updates. I think that's the reason theu postponed the release for the public twice, if you do not mind the LCD display, get the CDJ 1000, it will do the same job at the same level of excelence, they are prety much the same unit and same features if you do not consider the LCD and the needle search.
so y do mine always crash now n then when i do sets usb and playin cds both cut out defo not worth the money now gotta send them bk to u guys n coz i got no receipt i wil have to pay out the ass to get them fixed
What about that thing in the middle ?? That is used to mix the music right ? increase bass, middle and all that stuff. Or does is that not a part of CDJ-2000 ? And I also have another question: Does that come with sound columns from Pioneer ? or should I have to purchase those after I get the CDJ-2000 ? Thanks !
i had a question about the browsing, can i browse trough folders? like in windows explorer. i mean, can i press as example USB and then see the actual filenames. for when i forget to add tags.
Yeah dude music is expensive. If you want the equipment that's worthwhile that is. I spent over 4000$ on my setup and I don't even use CDJs I use DVS. Just put it together piece by piece and don't think of it as one big chunk and you'll have a badass setup in no time.
Is there any way to NOT have tracks on mp3 CDs appear in individual artist folders? My mp3 CDs burnt through iTunes all display multiple folders organised by artist name. I'd rather have all the tunes in one big list to make flicking through tracks easier.
@bboyjay69 I think the point is that u can use both serato or cds (or usb or an external hard drive) . . . If you're gonna use a mouse and software all the time you probably wont need spend the money on this, but if you wont to expand your dj abilities or you're playing a live show and dont want to pull an Aoki, its good to have multiple outlets, dont depend on a shitty mac ever lol..
one quastion. What makes the CDJ2000 worth 1800€? i don't see much more buttons or funktions. Sure there is the advanced Software and Libary directly on the player. But what about the main functions. If somone of you knows the "DJay"App for iPad/Mac: am i right that the 10$ app has the same function as one 1800$ CDJ2000. (except for inputs and outputs) thats weired...
I have confirmation in a couple of weeks, and i am going to buy this turntable!:) But does it work with FL studio?=O Is it possible to plug it in into fl studio?=)
@fastandfurioustokyo you buy one at a time! then buy a mixer so that means its like 4 grand just for two players if you ahve the money its worth it best players made.
Pioneer is going to kill themselves with this expensive of equipment. The secret is out that cdj's are just controllers with mini computers in them. Laptops will take over and be cheaper, but with equally sturdy midi controllers. This will be the new setup. Pio was good back in the day but will now have to make a new game plan for the new world of cheaply produced software.
I’m playing these at a nightclub in 2023 lmao
Same 😊
I'm so sorry 😁
Haha its beautifull stuff but I kinda laugh when he says: As you can see it has a 6.1 inch screen. Oh jeah clearly I noticed that extra 0.1 inch immediatly, anyone with me?

Would you buy these in 2022?
The needle search has to be one of the best things about this thing. Nice!
I wish I had half a cdj 2000 for every time he said "groundbreaking"
That finger touch access to the waveform sold me.. that and the LEDs on the plates.
CDJ 2000 x2,DJM 800,EFX 1000,HDJ 2000,Serato and Mac...this is my setup in my room!!

wow, that CDJ 2000 is to revolutionary. For it to come with a software is even better.
CDJ-2000 is like a music computer!:D
Got my pair of cdj 2000 today!
It is the best looking cdj I have ever seen!

Would a bank see this as an acceptable reason to take out a loan?

two turntables, a mixer, and serato are alll u will ever need.

@zipproductionz why would you use it to fl studio ?
What more does the 2000 have over the 900's? do they both play the same formats etc? What's difference guys?
Only cdj 2000/cdj 2000 nxs and cdj 900/cdj 900 nxs can be linked ?
@TheAlienabductionpro The old CDJ 400's had immuninated Jogwheels also
What about that thing in the middle ?? That is used to mix the music right ? increase bass, middle and all that stuff. Or does is that not a part of CDJ-2000 ?
And I also have another question: Does that come with sound columns from Pioneer ? or should I have to purchase those after I get the CDJ-2000 ?

why do the lights on the jog wheel go red sometimes

Is that Face to face from Armin ? :D nice tool man, like Phil46 said: lucky bastard
Love the song he played...What's it called ? XD
Is there any way to NOT have tracks on mp3 CDs appear in individual artist folders? My mp3 CDs burnt through iTunes all display multiple folders organised by artist name. I'd rather have all the tunes in one big list to make flicking through tracks easier.

dude i have a technical pro that was only 315 and has most of that minus the color screen but it is kinda laggy and has freezes like once a month
One question i've always had... what does the MK stand for? Mark?
has it got a crossfader
Im led to believe these models come with a hefty price tag of around $2300-2500, what are the models below them with no screen worth and called???
Omg, what a masterpiece! :O
How muc are this cdj 200.. do they come separate or the deck 1 and deck 2 come together??
one quastion.
What makes the CDJ2000 worth 1800€?

But is it groundbreaking?
😱 just arriving to Poland 🇵🇱
middle age crisis - problem solve 44YY😳
Do I have to have my music in a thumb drive, SD card or Cd? Can I connect it to the computer directly? Is it in anyway similar to the torq exponent?
can you connect any cdj with any mixer?
I have confirmation in a couple of weeks, and i am going to buy this turntable!:) But does it work with FL studio?=O Is it possible to plug it in into fl studio?=)
I’m sure you’ve figured this out but fl studio is not a DJ software
HOLY CRAP these are incredible but srsly??? like £2,700 for a pair
I'm getting two and I just got my djm 800 pioneer is great for spinning but I won't use there software I use ableton8 for producing and mixing
Can You Use the cd player with Serato
How do you bring up the zoomed in wave form?
Only the CDJ-2000NXS and newer models have that feature.
@TtopMusic its even free on the website
@fastandfurioustokyo you buy one at a time! then buy a mixer so that means its like 4 grand just for two players if you ahve the money its worth it best players made.
What kind of mixer?
personal loan much??
pioneer destroys the competition.
the CDJ-2000 is for more experienced djs, if u are a new dj buy a CDJ-400, its easy and not nearly as expensive
expensive, good stuff but expensive
como tirar vírus de uma cdj 2000 ?
yeah that set up he has? im gonna call at least 6k+
Que PIONEER TIENE EL AUTO SYNC

so the whole set up would cost from 2500k to 4000k dollars plus the mixer?!! damn :/
About to buy one next week and then I hit a car...FML

@omnipitantlyoriginal i bought 0ne cdj 2000 for 1300 euro really cheap im happy i bought it
Did he say ground breaking?

@PioneerProDJMedia They are not cheaper, they are in the range of the rest of us humans. Not all of us are DJ gods with obscene salaries.
Dear Santa..

if u want to get left behind get the 1000's
why do they cost so much?!
Does anyone think its maybe, "groundbreaking" by any chance
