8 బుద్ధిలేని ఆ కన్యకలు మా దివిటీలు ఆరిపోవుచున్నవి గనుక మీ నూనెలో కొంచెము మాకియ్యుడని బుద్ధిగలవారినడిగిరి.
9 అందుకు బుద్ధిగల కన్యకలుమాకును మీకును ఇది చాలదేమో, మీరు అమ్మువారియొద్దకు పోయి కొనుక్కొనుడని చెప్పిరి.
10 వారు కొనబోవుచుండగా పెండ్లికుమారుడు వచ్చెను, అప్పుడు సిద్ధపడి యున్నవారు అతనితో కూడ పెండ్లి విందుకు లోపలికి పోయిరి;
11 అంతట తలుపు వేయబడెను. ఆ తరు వాత తక్కిన కన్యకలు వచ్చిఅయ్యా, అయ్యా, మాకు తలుపు తీయుమని అడుగగా
12 అతడుమిమ్ము నెరుగనని మీతో నిశ్చయముగా చెప్పుచున్నాననెను.
