I have a templar high elf who is a healer and is now doing cyrodiil and i used this build after dying a lot. i die less now and actually can hold off at least a single opponent long enough to get help or put them off when i dont die so quick. If you take nothing else from this video then go get yourself some snowtreaders. They are amazingly handy for getting out the way so i can heal me or my team or just pull the opponent towards my team. One question was about revealing flare or any of it's morphs. I get that it gives me my 10% reduction, but is it not useful to see if some enemy is hanging out near a resource or a keep? Or is everyone able to negate the spell? Another is if an ice staff with say crusher or escapist poison be useful as an option? I was in a fight today and i was healing my group but not likely to be attacked myself, if i'd had a staff i could have maybe snared our opponent or weakened them or something. Not a criticism just an option.
@Taarente revealing flare with either morph is really up to you, as all you technically "need" it for is the passive damage reduction. Escapist poisons are absolutely cool! Mostly used by organized groups like smallscales or ballgroups to ensure higher uptime on CC Immunity. You can try playing with them, and you may feel a difference or not.
@Kieran.Rob53 snow treaders is very strong in group play, as you never have to worry about cleansing snares and immobilization. It's most often used with organized group players or ball groups. Generally, all the information in this video is supposed to be a catch all for healing builds in general. Covering the most important points to hit.
@@TheLostSoulESO I’m gonna try the other morph of Hasty Prayer on my front bar today to see how it is, I’ve only been using BoL so far. Otherwise, taking the mag rune over the stam rune seemed odd, with pvp healing it’s usual to take the stam rune and on Warden the stam netch so we can recover stam through block, thought I’d mention since I saw you use SnB. Maybe you don’t block much though I’m not sure.
@Kieran.Rob53 generally speaking. The build I have here would better off be used in pug group healing, zerg healing, or Battlegrounds. While the individual morphs of skills are user choice, what I have slotted usually works the best for me. Templar is pretty nice for raw healing, so I only ever tend to block ultimates or bombs. Other raw damage will be mitigated by incoming heals and resistances. Alternatively to the SNB, you could run an ice staff and block with mag, which is also pretty common.
@@TheLostSoulESO You only block ultimates or bombs and yet have the healing power to stay alive through everything else despite wearing a defensive set (weaker heals) and running a recovery mundus (even weaker heals). I must be missing something, how are you staying alive? 😂
@Kieran.Rob53 considering that you're likely going to be playing a healing build in something open world, you'll catch a lot of cross heals pretty easily. If not, or you're in smaller conditions such as Battlegrounds, movement and positioning are key. If you can't be hit due to LOS, you aren't going to die. This isn't a specialized build, more general purpose and great for the demonstration of the things we want to build into a healer build.

thank you for your build
nice explanation
@@brandonochoa1934 thanks for watching!
You’re eliminating all snares and immobilisations on the one class that’s already the best at cleansing snares and immobilisations
