This is great! Crate training has been very successful for us.
But our 9mo kelpie has started barking at things when she's in her crate though recently. It is covered was outside but i've brought it inside to dampen noise - seems to be things she hears running around in the garden in the evening, rats, bats, cats...... seems ok later at night once she's completely settled. Hopefully it's just an adolescent thing and will settle?

My gosh, you guys have made some changes to the yards since I was last there. Looks good, and I rather enjoy these small clips. Good job.

Hey mate thanks for the video series! I've got a 1 year old kelpie from a working family and we didn't crate train him and was wondering is it too late to start? Thanks alot 👍

@@belokakelpies8419 much appreciated! Also thank you for your videos as they have already helped immensely! Giving him tasks and tones of voice, he's been a completely different dog since I first watched the videos! My aim is to get him to the level of off lead walking which by the looks of it won't be too hard with time 👍 thank you for all you do!

I just got an almost five-month-old pup who wasn't crate trained and won't stop barking and crying. Should I just ignore him and keep the crate covered? During the day he's mostly fine (won't go in on his own, though). In the evening he's hell, he goes on for at least half an hour between whining, crying, barking and all the works, even shoving his body on the crate or biting it. Any more advice? Please? It's been two weeks, can't understand why he hates it so much.

Thanks for this video and guide on the website. My Kelpie pup whines and bites at the cage and goes erratic. HEs 10 weeks old.
I presume im good to just sit by him initially and just let him get it all out of his system?
Im looking to only put him in there, after excerise, toilet and fed.
    Cheers,

Ignore the above! ]i just watched your next video ;) !
This has made me feel much better about leaving my pup in a crate alone.
i was worried that this would cause separation anxiety - but in fact its the opposite.
      Thanks alot :)
