That’s exactly what I told my mom yesterday and she said, “Sleep tight darling,” and gave me a kiss on the cheek, my parents let me do whatever I want.

When I was in my teens, I was the same. Except, I grew up with my grandparents (bad parents). I used to stay out all night, drive w no license, and I got my first tattoo at 15.
in some cases, kids grow up to be bratty. I think some rules should be there, but not too many. If u dont put ANY rules, some kids can be bratty.
Again, I also stopped school in 6th grade, I stopped going and then my grandma got me on an online program.
For my opinion, both choices are good but it really depends on how the person uses it's freedom
There needs to be ‘some’ rules. Children have to learn structure, self-control, and self-discipline (without overdoing it, of course). Your parents are kind of letting you down in a way because, once you’re an adult, there are all kinds of ‘rules’ to follow-particularly in a job. So, good luck.

Honestly, I think parents should lay out some rules, and too much freedom is not good..rules that are important for child discipline and other stuff
I grew up having absolutely no rules cuz nobody in my family cared about me.. I get really good grades, i don't have any smoking drinking habits, i don't look like weird gen z kids and I'm a perfectly normal human being.. I feel like when uh have to make decisions for yourself from a very young age uh gain some deep perspectives and a good experience of common sense.. Idk if that make sense but i can't explain the feeling of having freedom..
