watched this anime about 3 years ago and it desperately needs more seasons. MC has the same motivations as naruto and Asta they just wanna be the best of the best. Wish it just got more attention
Personnally, he made me think of a mix of Ichigo and Kirito. He wants to protect his friends more than anything, but doesn't give up on his dream neither. And despite hiding it, he has a pure soul. I also enjoyed the fact we know almost nothing about him throughout the 2 seasons... we're getting built the tension slowly and that's absolutely well-realised. A really good anime in my opinion, especially because the story looks more... "skilled", or just... way better realised than most of what you'd see in today's animes.

From what I understand, there are two women working on it. One of them became ill so they haven't been able to put volumes out as often. The final volume is supposed to be 27 and we're up to 26 so far.

My gosh, the 60 FPS makes this really hard to watch. When things move fast, 2/3rds of the frames look super blurry and the direction of motion get garbled.
