That was my thought. I used to do stuff like that early in my performing days. Then a guy in the band said to let the music create the drama, not your body. Occasionally your body, in it's natural process of creating music, will create drama for the audience, but if you are doing it consciously, it often translates into humor our those "ouch" moments when you see yourself on camera.
