Entitlement for OJ, entitlement for Rosa. I honor hardworking mothers like Rosa but to have the trial proceedings altered because ROSA needs or wants to go somewhere - that is not the American justice system working to protect JUSTICE over individual interests!! I notice Rosa and even her interpreter's disdainful responses to prosecution and the Judge (compare how she speaks to defense and the media). Notice when Rosa interestingly is able to understand and respond in/to English in defense of Cochran when Darden states that Cochran is coaching Rosa. Also note that Rosa responds in English in the taped interview. How is this witness, caught several times in outright lies on tape, on TV, ON THE STAND not held in contempt???

The judge allowed so much for defense and gave Marcia a hard time. I believe the judge was bullied and scared and couldn’t stand up to these old men and totally disrespected the law in our country. He favored the defense attorneys no question about it.
While the prosecution was presenting truth and evidence supporting their case. Defense was playing lying games from moment one. And every defending attorney knew their client was guilty. And judge was helping them. Makes me sick.

You have to prove without reasonable doubt. Don't know if you lived during that time but the defense case about the LAPD and Furman planting and manufacturing evidence was a very viable defense. The LAPD especially back then was horrible to African Americans. And everyone knew it. It was a secret to no one. Do I think he did it? Yes I do. Darden was out of his league. He was more concerned about not being bullied by Cochoran. As a lawyer who actually did a thesis on this trial in 2995 my senior year, Darden was horrible.
Let’s use your example. He should have stated that on record about needing a translator for everyone else, but not Cochoran. He should have brought up purging SEVERAL times; as it was clear she was lying. He went AT Cochoran instead of going AT what Cochoran was saying; giving the illusion he wanted to better him instead of proving his case. When Darden spoke, he didn’t speak with authority. It almost seemed as though he had no confidence and/or he didn’t believe in what he was doing.
Johnny saw all of this and played off it. Objecting to get him off his game. Calling him Chris instead of counsel. All the little tricks you learn as a trial lawyer. Chris was not ready for this. Bad move

@Zero_Point_Energy1 Well has it been PROVEN that it was her in the crowd? What's the "good evidence"? Any witnesses who saw her in the crowd? Photos? Videos? Or just someone who "looked a lot like her"??

    • @Zero_Point_Energy1

@@KanyeBreast4 There’s a great video series on TH-cam called OJ Simpson: Fact or Fiction by Brian Heiss that’s worth checking out. He devotes a full episode to Jill Shively. The series is basically arguing that OJ didn’t commit the crime and I don’t agree with that conclusion, but his videos are heavy on facts and are well made.
I think there’s a lot of damning evidence against OJ, but Jill Shively was a red herring. Here are some of the reasons - you can definitely find more about this topic on the web and on TH-cam.
She changed her story - she said she was sure of the time of the incident, then after finding out that it would have meant that it happened when OJ was known to be back home, she revised it and said it was earlier.
She claimed that she had called the police the next morning to “report him as a drunk driver” but no record of her call exists.
She appears to be caught on video outside OJ’s house before the Bronco was towed, and before she told anyone the license number. It’s true that it might not be her - the video in question is available on TH-cam.
She was a known fraudster- she was sued by an actor who claimed she had collected money from him to own the rights to a script that turned out to be written and owned by someone else.
Marcia Clark claimed that JS had appeared on Hard Copy against her wishes, but Shively has stated that MC told her it was ok before she did it. This could lead someone to believe that MC was looking for a way out of putting her on the stand without destroying her credibility. MC was actually dealing with two witnesses - JS and a guy named Skip Junis - who had become popular in the media but were telling stories that would be torn apart by the defense and would undermine the entire prosecution effort - the Hard Copy thing was an easy “out” for MC. Neither ended up testifying in the actual trial (Shively gave some pre-trial testimony).
I definitely don’t think you have to believe JS to be convinced that OJ did the crime. Everything else about that night makes it seem like OJ regained his composure pretty quickly and likely wouldn’t have been raging and driving like a maniac on San Vincente but that’s just my take on it.
I really recommend Brian Heiss’ videos - even though he’s coming at it from a wrongheaded premise (IMO) his videos are entertaining and provide a new perspective on the case.

This is why Fuhrman left her out of his investigatory notes and didn't forward anything to cover up that she told him that the bronco was at Rockingham at the time of the murders. It proves 100% Fuhrman planted that blood.

Remember she comes from a dangerous country very corrupt.
In her head she might think she might be acused and prisoned or even killed too.
She will say anything to get away. And she tried to make them feel sorry for her.

That Rosa woman was so ridiculous as they had oj say in the fx series. The prosecution played so many games & got away w/ too much. Ito was a fool & fame hungry. No wonder he never gave an interview after he was to blame for so much. He allowed the cameras & made it a circus & let the defense run the show. Ito is despicable & Gil garcetti is the other idiot who didn't try this case where it happened in Santa Monica not downtown l.a. where the riots occurred. Funny Rosa speaks perfect English in the tapes but in court she speaks zero English. She's sobbing b/c she obviously was paid off & was a horrible liar. Way too much attention given to a liar who's testimony was disregarded. That's why she wants out of there suddenly she can't see. She never saw ojs car & was proven a liar so Many times on the stand. She cried to get sympathy. Sorry but I feel for the Goldman & brown family not some liar who was paid by ojs lawyers to give him alibi

Z: Where are the tape recordings for Mr. Simpson arriving to the LA airport? And the tapes arriving in Chicago airport? With the technology that we have, we could have easily seen if Mr. Simpsons cut was there when he was leaving LA. Why was not this done? It would have been the first thing I would have done as an investigator. If it was not done, it should be done now. This would be reason enough for a new trail.
