I want to travel back in time and invent/patent this "Memory Saver".
Thanks for watching!
what a joy that hold down bracket is when you don't have a socket long enough to reach
Hi - Thanks for watching and sharing your experience!
Thanks very much. Easy to follow. We have a car that is working.
Thank you for watching and happy to hear we could help you out!
Is the plastic cable holder (at 1:41) a part that can be replaced without replacing the whole negative cable assembly? I had to change the battery in 14 degree weather, and that plastic j bracket cap broke. If it’s not critical, will just live with it the way it is now.
Thanks much!!
Thank you for watching!

When I put the negative cable back on it sparked?
Thank you for watching. It is not uncommon to see a small spark when attaching the negative cable to the battery. Just make sure you take the negative off first and put it on last.

Hi - Thanks for watching! We recommend that you follow the vehicle manufacturers step-by-step procedure to prevent problems. We’re not sure, but the battery management system might be affected and a reset may be required.

What if I don’t have the memory saver? What will happen?

Is the memory saver neccessary?
If you want to guarantee the preservation of all settings in your vehicle, we recommend using a memory saver. If one is not used, some settings, like the time and music settings, will probably be lost.
What memory saver do you guys use?
Thank you for watching. We use an OBDII port style memory saver.
