Hi Isabelle, thanks for this video which is relevant to me. In fact, I own 3 of your 5 compact wallets shown here. I must agree that the LV Victorine is one of my fave. I use the zippy coin purse for all my retail cards & I also have a Chanel Boy small wallet with the zip compartment at the back. This Chanel Boy is my least favourite too. Here's why: 1) because it's lambskin, so the card slots are kind of stretched out after a while and my cards keep sliding out. 2) I find the 2 flap slots quite silly cos cards or receipts can still drop out. 3) Yes, the back zip compartment is small and if you put more coins, again the lambskin can get overstretched. **Hopefully, this info.is helpful for those considering on buying a Chanel lambskin wallet. I think I may get the LV Capucines compact wallet or the Ariane wallet instead😜😜.Currently, I'm using the LV Flore compact wallet. However, due to its design, this is much bulkier & heavier than the Victorine.
I have a rectangular simple coach with wristlet... I can fit my iPhone se without case so it’s convenient running errand :) not as luxe but super convenient!

Nothing matches the zippy coin purse when going compact. I have it in vernis, epi and damier ebene. Superb value for money especially in the vernis and epi

I bought it in Paris when I broke my heart and it really cheered me up. She looks just like the day I bought her but I rotate my purses and wallets. I've two zippy coin purses in epi and damier ebene and the zippy wallet in epi for keeping currencies separated when travelling.
The zippy coin purse is seriously the best!! I absolutely love the pomme d'amour, it is my favourite red from Louis Vuitton so far, but I wasn't buying many luxury pieces back then so missed out on that colour! You are so lucky :) Thanks so much for watching! Xx

I was so on the fence about the Victorine, then I was so sure I was getting the Chanel classic small, but NOW I want the original classic small Chanel and am devastated because I have no idea how to find it!!! Do you know the actual name or how I can search for it? The only thing is has over the new one is a smarter coin compartment but it’s looks like a big difference. Please let me know if you have any clue how I can find that old style Chanel!!

Awesome and very informative video! I have the victorine too and find it to be a fairly easy to use medium size wallet, and it fits everything, coins, cards and cash! Love that you don't have to fold bills, although sometimes the coins are harder to fetch due to the small zipper section, and it can get a bit bulky esp for the Chanel rectangular or square mini. Thanks for sharing also on how it fits in diff mini bags! :) Cheers

I have the cles, rosalie, compact zippy and koala all LV and my fave is the compact zippy so far. You can put a lot inside yet still compact to go in my eva, mini pochette, gucci soho and favourite pm. So verstile 🥰

Do you feel it’s size is a bit bigger than the size you want? I feel that If its size is a bit smaller it will be perfect. How sad is this, but I bought it in anticipation of getting a Chanel mini rectangular bag, so that I can use it in the bag (when I get it!). Unfortunately, there are no black rectangular minis with gold hard ware currently available!

I have the capucines compact wallet and it is by far my favourite wallet. I would say the old model zippy compact by LV was my fave, but I have sworn off canvas wallets. I've always had an issue with them or they show more wear. I had the same victorine as you and I loved the look but hated it because I found the coin compartment tight to get into, and the card slots took a really long time to start to loosen up. the leather on the capucines compact is divine and so nice!
The Capucines wallet is on another level amazing! Funny you mentioned the issues with canvas wallets! I actually noticed some unusual wear on my victorine after filming this video so went in to LV to address it! I will have a video on it soon but I am glad I'm not the only one! Xx

I love the contrast on the LV Capucines wallet 😍 one of my favourites in my collection is the LV Helene - unfortunately they don’t make it anymore but it’s similar to the Victorine ❤️

I really love the Chanel classic it’s a bummer that’s it’s not as functional but it’s ok I can’t afford it anyway. ☺️I am saving for a new compact wallet and I think I will go for the LV Victorine..Thanks, this video helps me decide what to get in the future..

Hi hun! Sorry about the late reply! I have a classic speedy in size 30 Damier Ebene canvas and I also have a Speedy B 25 in monogram. I personally like the size 30 for classic and 25 for bandolier xx

Gucci has a version of that Chanel wallet! It has the double flap design with card slots and a bill compartment and a larger side for other cards/coins

I have the capucines compact wallet and it is by far my favourite wallet. I would say the old model zippy compact by LV was my fave, but I have sworn off canvas wallets. I've always had an issue with them or they show more wear. I had the same victorine as you and I loved the look but hated it because I found the coin compartment tight to get into, and the card slots took a really long time to start to loosen up. the leather on the capucines compact is divine and so nice!
The Capucines wallet is on another level amazing! Funny you mentioned the issues with canvas wallets! I actually noticed some unusual wear on my victorine after filming this video so went in to LV to address it! I will have a video on it soon but I am glad I'm not the only one! Xx
