Sadly none that I know about. You should definitely get these but at least 2-3 of each thickness you gonna be using. They are great to have in range 003 - 0.1. For thicker lines I use rotrings 0.2 - 0.8. You can also try to go for faber castell instead of rotrings but fabers won't ever be as thin as microns. And of course, microns wear out quickly, but not deadly quick. Its more of a matter how hard you push and wear their nibs. Have a great experience with them!
wow :o thats insane. Ive never had such a problem.... Maybe it's your paper. Cant find any other explaination. Make sure to use kneaded eraser, because the standard one will literally sand down the paper.
Bro I hate that when ever I use these opens, the tip where the ink is, always gets too short or slides inside the pen. And it’s impossible to get it back out, and when I do, I accidentally crush the tip and it’s all brushy
Can someone tell me what to do, my sakura micron pen's ned is small i believe i apploed a little bit more force while shading its super small now what should i do
@@akiraisdrip Maybe you applied too much of a pressure :( You gotta be really gentle dealing with the fineliners in general, especially those thinner than 0.5. I also use non textured paper to make sure they easily glide on the surface without too much of a friction.
that's why people use manga pens, they don't run out and if you take good care for it it will last more than 2 years and it takes a long time to use all it's ink which is just a thing on the side with ink
I see a lot of criticism of microns running out of ink, I'm a (part time) ink artist and think I've only bought about 2 packs in 4 years of drawing. The only one that really runs out I find are the 0.05mm and tbh I buy those in unipin as well to suplement
Is unipin better like is it feel smoother or the ink is not easily dried? I often do some detail after i use dip pen and the ink always dried but when i use it on clean paper it run smooth
In case of sketch it uses 003 & 005
exactly, 003 n 005 are insanely good for sketching
So hard to open the cap
i got one, sometimes you could be using it then a few minutes later you find the tip broken.
yes they are not durable, but cheap and amazingly thin! I cant help loving them for decades :)
I want to get these pens, but everyone says they wear out easily. Are there any alternative pens that are like micron?

@vanishing_arts ah ok I see, i will definitely consider them! Thanks for the help 🙏
uni-pin has an amazing fineliner set! I have them and microns and I prefer uni-ball's uni-pin fineliners :>
@@rivviegobrr714 Thanks for this advice! I will defo check them out :) Never heard of them
@@vanishing_arts their brush liner is my favourite thing ever
Mine all rub out when I try and erase the pencil underneath :( I was very disappointed

I guess its all about the drawing habits and technique. I dont push that hard and never dealt with such an issue :(
I got 6 of the 0.5mm ones, do you think they will last long?
for sure! Only the thinnest ones wear out rapidly, due to their thin nibs that imo get sanded down by the paper. Other than that you should be fine :)
Can someone tell me what to do, my sakura micron pen's ned is small i believe i apploed a little bit more force while shading its super small now what should i do
their nibs just wear out. You literally sand them down with a paper you draw on. From what you say you just need a new one :(
@@vanishing_arts i just bought it a day ago and i need a new one, damn thats sad but thanks for the help bro

How do you refill it
you do not, they are non refillable. Even if you could, the nibs wear down as well so its pointless in my opinion :)

Could you post a link / ref to a manga pen that you reffet to please? Id love to check them out!

What brand name do you use?
Tachikawa, nikko, and zebra are the best
Bro why did I just pay 3.50 FOR ONE PEN 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

that's the same to what I experienced with them. I talk about it in my review video more in details

You have fake microns if yo7 can’t write on an angle with them
Dont worry they are not fake, just 0.03 doesnt perform when angled too rough
If they dont work while angling its fake
They do work but different :)
