I like what you said about giving students autonomy as part of their lessons. I love the idea of student-led lessons from the beginning and honoring their preferences and goals!

Very informative. I am a baby boomer and considering teaching piano. Your video and these comments are very helpful. Thank you. Niles, MI

My main question is about how you determine pricing if you've never taught and you didn't necessarily to go school to learn what you know.

Good qu. Always useful to see what people in your location are charging just for some ideas. Then think about what you feel your time is worth. What would u like to earn?

Such a fabulous question! I just tackled this one and love ponder what it will cost YOU to teach. That answer varies so much! I don't want to spam the comments on Tim's fabulous video, but did just do a video on this exact topic this past week on my channel! It is a great one to think through with care!

So I’m planning to teach from beginner and grade 1-3 kids in piano. I’m a private diploma student in LCM. I’ve no experience how to teach kids, are they any methods that you would recommend me to use. And what is your advice in first time piano teacher

Do we need a sales/marketing funnel to generate clients and how would we do it?

Sales funnels are important for online marketing, but it's not the first thing to do if you need students.

Hey, i'm 14 years old (pianist for 8 years) and gonna teach piano to a 7 years old autistic kid, full of potencial, he is extremelly impressive. It's the first time that i will teach, i'm really stressed. do you have any advice?

Relax, breathe and enjoy. Share your love of music ❤️ do some fun beginner stuff like improv and maybe the frog and snake game. Will depend on the students level of autism as to what you’ll be able to do, but you’ll pick it up pretty quickly. We’ve also got courses to help on this topic. Good luck 👍
