- Hey guy thanks for watching ,in this video I am fabricating the radiator cradle for the fan,respray the plenum and bell housing as well as coupling the 02j gearbox on the vr6 and finally marrying the drivetrain to the chassis.

Sho kg. Cool build bro i wanted to know what i need in order to get dsg on a r32 wih the BUB r32 gearbox do i need a gearbox controller?
Howzit bro not too sure I am no expert in this I just learn as I go ,but I’m assuming so if you are using a dsg setup you need everything from the donor car including the computer box that actuates the dsg solenoids inside the selector,I think even the gear stick has a sensor in there to check selections and position.even a brake switch cos you can’t switch between Drive ,park and neutral without it.

what made you decide to gremmy the dsg?
Ola bro I used a 02j gearbox from a Jetta v5 the dsg is just too expensive and it needs a lot of work for it to adapt to a citi.I would share but I don’t get paid by the engine supplier bro if you looking for one check your local suppliers they have it.

your crack the cv-30mm nut when the wheel is still on the ground to give you leverage
again you should have removed the cradle panel from spot welding for ease fitting and removal, the convert it to bolt fastern type like golf 2,3,4,5,6,7
Oh yeah I have seen them on mk1 race cars as well and it makes it easier to work on the car.

Yeah possible but Ey the figo is quite small hey in terms of the engine bay ,the citi has a really big engine bay that’s why these are popular I guess cos you don’t cut anything

I have ARC blueline coilovers on it.I will be running the golf 2 Gti brakes on the rear still deciding on the front brakes setup.

Howzit bro sorry I can’t share as they don’t pay me for this,if you are genuinely looking for one you will find it ,trust me .it’s not so rare alot of engine suppliers have Vr6’s as the engine is less favourable to the ABF’s.
To make things easy for you if you want to bend take a thin cutting disk and just draw a guide line and grind on the line lightly then bend it it will loom neater and it would bend more easy

Sho bro ,dicktator is a stand-alone ecu you can use to tune your car to whatever custom setup you want,you can play with the fuel/air mixture for whatever you want ,also nice features like launch control which is like cool for drag racing as well as that nice sound it makes (2 stepping as some people call it)
