Look at that vocal control on that 73 yrs youngster! Pound for pound, the greatest male vocalist this country has ever produced. From the two headed coin of gospel/blues to country & pop - with that great jazz behind the beat phrasing- music listeners really get all labels touched on by the Jolly Green Giant. While he's on this tour- run & don't walk to purchase your tickets if he's arriving anywhere near your city. Thanks for posting this.
Saw him at the beacon theatre in 1990 or 1991.W/th the staple singers. Chuck Leonard introduced them. I walked right past the staples and Chuck Leonard. I had a "hook ".Great Show!

Wow....what an Awesome performance, and you can tell that he was really enjoying the audience singing along, and they sounded pretty darn good too. I did not know that The Great Al Green was touring in 2019! Would have loved to have been at this show. My thanks to the person who uploaded this video. I sure hope that after this Covid mess is over and done, that Al Green will go on tour again!! If so, and he is anywhere near my area....I will be going to see him. On second thought, even if his is not near my area, I will travel and make a vacation around going to see his show!!!!
