When is the academic starts for masters in U K ?
When should we apply for masters before deadline?

UK have 3 intakes for a year.
1. Major Intake: Autumn (Sep/Oct)
2. Minor Intake: Winter (Jan/Feb)
3. Alternative Intake: Sprint/Summer (May-August)
Almost all programs across all the universities have an intake in Autumn. Depending on the university and the program, other intakes may vary. You should apply to universities around 4 - 6 months before the course starts. You will find relevant information about deadlines on the respective university websites.

Hi akki. Thank you very much! I have heard that many schlorships for masters are less in uk. Is that true? I have a second class upper division. Is it possible to get a schlorship from that class?
It is not true. Even US, Canada only provides full scholarships for research based masters. If you are looking for a "taught master", you will only get partial scholarships from different governing bodies including universities itself. If you have an exceptional profile try applying full scholarships like Chevening.org or you can directly try a PhD.

There are not many universities offering agriculture related programs in UK. Therefore, you won't find IELTS wave off options very often.
These universities offer more agricultural programs than others:
Harper Adams University, Royal Agricultural University, University of Reading, University of Greenwich, Newcastle University

Yes. First you must complete a foundation program before entering the bachelors degree. Not all universities provide this opportunity unfortunately. Therefore you have to do your research.

You might need to take A/Ls (London or Sri Lankan) or a foundation program dedicated for bachelors as a pre-entry qualification.

Check the course fee. If you can split the course fee for two years, it would be easier with the rising economic crisis.
I don't see a major advantage in two-year masters other than getting more practical exposure to the subject.

Even though the opportunities are limited for the general pass, you might have options from certain universities with/without a "pre-master" course. Pre-masters are specially designed for students who don't meet the minimum entry requirement of a program. But, doing a "pre-masters" would cost you some additional money and time. Hi Akki, am currently following a postgraduate diploma in ICBT campus with my work experience.. it's a fast track program which is lead to Masters.. (overall 15months) offered by OTHM level 7

Hi Champa thank you for the comment. Even if you have a level 7 qualification, it is difficult to secure a full scholarship for masters. If you are looking for a full scholarship, your best option would be a PhD. You might need to have good grades in previous studies and some publications in the same domain that you are looking for a scholarship. All the best with your search.

UK and Sri Lanka both have a similar NVQ levels. NVQ level 4 will give you a chance to enter into a Bachelor's program which is the minimum requirement for a work visa in UK for most skilled jobs.
