Who the Son sets free.. IS FREE INDEED! Before I came to Christ, I was chasing after lust and giving my body up to anyone, like it meant NOTHING. I now understand how much this grieved the Lord. My body is not my own.. it was bought with a price! & That PRICE was the precious blood of Jesus 😭 He freed me from all my addictions (sex, alcohol, porn) Any time I have an urge or desire to watch porn, the Holy Spirit gently reminds me how far I’ve come in my walk with Christ 🙌🏼 Its no longer about pleasing my flesh, but it’s about pleasing the Lord! “It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.” (Galatians 2:20) The temptation may arise, but I refuse to let my flesh win! The flesh is weak, but the Spirit is willing! HIS SPIRIT IS SO POWERFUL & AMAZING 🕊🌿 Praying for all my brothers & sisters who struggle with porn or any other addiction.. 🙏🏼 He WILL set you free, in the name of Jesus! Amen ❤️

It boils down to balance. In the areas of liberty we must have proper balance without that we get addicted. So the bible never said "thou shalt not eat chocolate, ice cream and cake" but persons do get addicted them and some become obese and or develop diabetes and other lifestyle illnesses. I drink wine, however if I'm in the company of fellow believers say at a wedding where alcoholic and non is served I will take the non because I know that others are there who might have an issue with me as a leader in the church having alcohol.

I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today (January 14, Epiphany 2), this was our New Testament Lesson (or Epistle) of the Day. Corinth: the New York City/Las Vegas of the Bible.
