I believe there will be some debt left with RMF. Around 80% will be paid off once the purchase is complete. So 80% of the interest owed will be reduced. That is massive for us.

Great show Boyz.. As an Everton fan in a really miserable world, I feel upbeat and positive going forward. Dyche will sack himself as his CV win ratio is awful. I think the new owner will bring in a non UK manager and clear out 70% of our dead wood. I will support Thelwell as his recent signings look ok

As a Villa fan, your potential new owners are being extremely ambitious, in fact I would say unrealistic. Saying that, I am glad Everton fans have this positive news, but your short term goal should be surviving relegation this year, then mid table consolidation for the next couple of years. The problem Everton have in terms of Europe is you are so far behind clubs like Villa and Newcastle, possibly West Ham too, before even considering the Sky 6, so which of those 9 clubs will you be ahead of with their ambitious owners? As you can see, it will be difficult to break. Furthermore, you are up against spending constraints of PSR, which you have already had points deductions for. As an example, Villa had to sell Luiz due to PSR only, when the owners wanted to spend big. Were it not for PSR, we would have seen far more arrivals. I am not down on this great news for Everton, just saying you need to be realistic. It is a marathon for Everton, and I would say you are talking 2 years catch up then 3 years to Europe, and that is assuming you are able to grow the revenue needed as clubs outside the Sky 6 are so far behind in terms of competing financially.
