This was one of the first lines I went up in my noob days. I remember yoloing a ton in my Crusader as a new player and wondering why I was losing a ton of games haha. Probably my favorite tank in the line is either the Comet or the 7/1. My only major complaint is the Comet's abysmal 148 pen. And the slow shell velocity on the AP rounds is really, really annoying too. DPM is nuts but I'm forced to fire a ton of premium rounds just to make up for the poor pen, which is why I bought the Banshee Comet two weeks ago. I'm liking it a lot. Also, I was completely unaware of the nerf to the Comet's turret - when did that occur? No wonder I wasn't able to bounce a ton of shots with the gun mantlet.
The britsh medium line was my first and l still love that ax. Did not find any of the tanks in that line very bad. On the britsh heavy line on the other hand. Those churchill tanks was a nightmare to play.
Hey Petty, enjoyed again this great video overview of the tanks on the Centurion line.. I recently disposed of MK 1 as I have the Atomic., The new grind system is not pleasing using type a barrel against 10's., It's ok if I got lots lots of silver, trying to track bigger tanks with AP does work if they're rolling down on you and u have baby engine..👌
I've achieved most of the XP on centurion 7/1 just started new tank.. as loosing much silver I swapped for Atomic., things are better when yr not hemorrhaging silver.. thanks mate, that's appreciated...👍🤪😁 Hope you are doing well.... Bloody WG have dented my Atomic turret on the left, don't remember they fucked it previously..🙃 If you haven't seen the new spacial track armour on boilermaker check it out...
I have paused about halfway along the Tier IX as when the cold war centurions came out I found them more fun to play. Until fully upgraded the centurions were a bit awful to grind, easily outmatched by many other tanks. The better gun comes way too late in the upgrades, you get it then you're onto the next tier soon after. Change in play from the more mobile tanks particularly the Cromwell, still my favourite medium, to the centurions was something I took a long time to master - I'd get over exposed and forget about the weak hull armour. The Centurion was the tank I wanted to like the most as we had them here in the Australian army, and I've even been inside one at the Australian War Memorial. The Atomic centurion in the game is an actual Australian Army vehicle - it survived atomic testing, THEN served in combat in vietnam and was finally a gate guard at Robertson barracks in the Northern Territory for many years although it is now on display at RAAF Edinburgh base, South Australia
I love the Centurions; have them all except the TT one (finished and sold) and the Primo V. Your right the Huntsman is the worse one of them all. My Favorite is the 5/1.
I am close to unlocking the AX. Can't wait to play it and see how this gun handles compared to the 4202. It is definitely the most fun line I have played so far.
I think that ones a little two close to call if I'm honest! The mobility and Heat that the AX get are lovely! But he Armour on The FV gives it some nice durability aswell as the meme HESH!
To me its the the Cent 5/1 because it gets better hull armour and better mobility with the same everything else as the Strv 81. It's only shell velocity that the 81 is better in
Gg i liked line also. Ive kept most of the tanks on it. Q1 where has my snakebite crew gone with snakebite skill ? Q2 pre 6.0 i had scores of tanks with binos, tool kit & camo on. This was because i wasn't sure what equupment i wanted to install as yet , or i was using it as a way to bank silver. Now i can't get those equipment off without loosing half the silver amount. Meaning yet again wg have robbed me of several million silver. The more i look into update 6 , the more i see how utter shite it is. Its just an utterly piss poor performance which i wouldn't expect from anybody doing this for a living.
Snakebite skill has been replaced with the run N gun perk which is way better but can be put on any crew. You got the silver back for binos that's why there was a massive boost to silver on login 6.0 update. Camo=advanced concealment now

Yeh the 148 pen is pretty poo and the Nerf to it's turret was a very very very long time ago

The med line is absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The Heavy line gets good at tier 8

The new linear progression system is poo. No shared modules was such a bad idea. Makes the grinds longer and more tedious.

The cents are only good when upgraded tbh, especially the Cent 1 which is poor stock

It's damn fun, the extra speed compared to the 4202 is nice, turret isn't as bouncy tho
