RC ERA C189 MD500 in MH-6 Trim

- This RC heli flys GREAT and I got the one that's in the MH-6 Army Special Operations "Little Bird" trim. It looks fantastic in the air with it's highly detailed scale appearance. Only exception is the nose isn't rounded but slightly pointed at the front.
This is the first RC aircraft video I've posted in quite a while, and the reason is I really like this little bird.

Yep. The look so cool ...until they crash with no reason 😔 Like many customers mine is a total loss after only 3 flights. There is a well documented design flaw with this machine. Do not buy it.

I had a fly away after the third flight. Went up and kept going into a large wooded area. I tried the stop bottom return with no response. Could not find it. Do not buy this heli

Sweet, reminds me of the Blue Thunder movie shootout. I am not sure if that is the same model in the movie. Looks like it.
Great video! You seem to have this heli figured out wonder if you might know what would cause drift to the right (pitch to starboard) ? Every time I get my US Coast Guard version in air it starts to drift/ pitch to the right and before I can even attempt to trim it's off in a bush or something, any ideas? I'd appreciate any advice from a pro thanks 👍
set the trim to the left before you take off or calebrate it before you take off. if youve hit the ground before then something is bent.
Has and problems where all of a sudden it just takes off and does its own thing?
are you pulling back on the stick to stop?
Yes, on the elevator stick and giving it a little throttle to create a bit more stopping power.

Hi. This is what I went through with this heli. I bought this along with a c129, both branded as rcera. When I tried to fly the md500, it went crazy and did the flyaway up, forward, and both sideways. I took it apart and found that mechanically it is perfectly sound. However I found that the controllers for the md500 and c129 were almost identical, so I tried the md500 with the c129 controller and it worked! Perfectly! MY md500 is unflyable with it's own controller, but flies absolutely perfect with the controller from the c129. The differences between the two controllers are minor, meaning I loose the Kill (stop) button and I loose the auto land function with the c129 controller, but consider that a good trade to be able to fly my md500 perfectly, every time now.
you should have sent it back for a replacement. one day your going to- need- to land real fast or use that kill switch.
i got the coast guard on. flies greatand i like it. im going to put all my mechanics into a MIL-34D HIND model body kit.
