is this stretch more or less gnarly than the stretch from the bridge to guy ford? i've fished both stretches and want to paddle them but wanted to know which was a better stretch to start on. thanks!!
Im a bit confused I paddled the Watauga from the Watauga Lake Dam down about 5 miles a few times last summer and have no idea where this section is? Is this above the lake Im guessing?
Nice run. Looks like a fun day. Love that level.
Man that place was an eye opener !! Thanks for the videos! 👊🏼
I'm moving and gonna be living 20 minutes from the watauga put in. Can't wait to put a lot of laps down out there.
That’s awesome. The Taugs is seriously one of the best runs as far as fear vs fun ratio !
@@DownstreamV that's always a tough ratio to find, Idaho has some really good boating like that. The Lochsa River is really fun and super chill.
I might just see you out there. The Watauga isn’t far for me either. I was finally able to get my PFD on it the other day.
@@RogueDragonNate awesome! Is this Nathan ??
@@DownstreamV - yup :).
I got to get back to the watuaga soon
Yea for sure !
gnarly! Is this in the gorge?
Yes
It's WATAUGA.
Good Video and nice River. Greetings ronactive
Thanks!

Yes, this is the actual gorge

Are they generating the dam at the time on this river, not sure, is this In Tennessee?
Yes it is. A whole different river as far as difficulty. It feeds the lake.
