I believe it's only the American brands that looks like that.. I think solitica has better realistic-looking colors.. but I ordered them from Europe.. 1-800 Contacts stated that they do not carry that and may never carry it....
You can't tell from a distance and it actually helps blend with your natural eye pattern. It's a similar reason as to why modern army uniforms use the dot matrix pattern. It would actually look unnatural if the lens tried to mimic the lines of the iris
Patrick Leal But I take the OP's point; you'd think after all this time they could come up with something more realistic. The pixelated look - even though it can only be noticed up close - is very off putting.
Air optix and Colorblends are just the same, they are really bright and can change your eye color but up close they look really fake, but from afar and videos and photos they look so pretty!
Mine have gotten more light reflective over time, so I think they changed them. My fave Sterling Grey. #2 Grey. Just ordered violet which looks almost chrome or diamond like in Snapchat lenses. Sterling Grey comes out really blue but it's less blue in person
I got some yesterday they look terrible in person. So fake even from a distance and it looks like your eyes are popping out of your head. The most natural looking ones are green but still terrible
@@AS-bq7sc Haha, I suppose it depends on the person. My original eye color is medium brown. Men have asked me out because of these contacts. The Grey have golden brown in the center which attracts conversation .. so when I'm feeling quiet, I go with Sterling Grey, more flirting, less analysis 😂 They do look strange in certain light but I like the effect
@@diannabell7817 I love the colour and how it photographs but it is so pixelated its hideous. I have dark brown eyes so perhaps that is why? Theyre not dark enough to not be able to tell the colour from the pupil but not light enough to pull them to be more realistic. My eyes have a green and golden undertone so the green was ok but I really wanted the sterling grey and it looked super fake to me from a conversation distance and kind of far away... I would be embarrassed to wear them to uni T.T youre so lucky they work for you!

Honey made me look like The Witcher (netflix show). Brown made my brown eyes slightly lighter and absolutely natural. Pure hazel looked very natural to me as well. Sterling gray looked too artificial and creepy, like the honey did. My votes go to Pure Hazel and Brown for me.

I actually sometimes can see the tiny pixels when my contacts move over the center of my eye for a second. I hate it
malasia the great I have never had that happen. It must look very odd.

I’m sorry but your measurements are off . Your irises on the outer rim is showing. Your eye dr. Measured wrong. I would go back and show them.
