Me personally what I got from it is the call back to Christian’s can’t use guns - him being a Christian and using a gun 😂 - then the play on how the Bible is structured, making it like he’s also turning the page, and Isaiah 57 has its own theme going on with that helps in conjunctions with the Glock 40 line you’d have to read the chapter cuz there are several things there that can compliment it but one of the few is “there’s no rest for the wicked” that’s a few of the things I gathered from that line
@@PrinceOfKings55 I read the verse soon as I heard the bar to see if there was some entendres there but couldn’t find any, seems like it wasn’t really a deep bar, jus the call back to the Christian gun bars thing like u said and had a good delivery, which is why I was and am still kinda baffled as to why it’s gotten such a strong reception as it seems pretty basic on the surface, unless there’s some metaphor in there that I’m not catching ..

Verb's reaction after "Glock 40" was everything. Aggression and fight - but a very clear mutual respect. Granted, there are lots of battles where issues between battlers where there isn't respect - but seeing two individuals battle on such a personal/intense level, but still maintain that respect underneath is so quintessentially battle rap. Phenomenal battle.

The only thing I found surprising was Verb flexin during the RBE chant like he just didn't get laid out. Maybe it was more of a "I'm still here" type flex but when I saw him 💪💪 during the chant I was like what is this man doing? I get the Ric Flair whooos during his round, they make cry sometimes 😂😂 and the raw aggression, hand slappin Wards hand, the two locking horns forehead to forehead, all that shit was hard but him doin the muscle flex after the hardest hittin bar of the night and the one that got the RBE chant I was just confused.

Verb lives on Twitter spaces (basically full time) and started talking shit around the beginning of the year. Ward called him out on stage with Verb in the audience at Chrome 23. And Verb just kept talking shit on Spaces, but wouldn't allow Ward to have a say. It's how Verb's been hyping up his side of the grudge match.
This was by far my favorite bar! You can tell how much anger Ward had pent up these months and waited to be able to say that one. 😅

I’m not an A Ward fan generally, but he SNAPPED round one. So did Verb. One of the best round for round back and forths I’ve ever seen. I can’t call it. Verb is a legend and clearly took this seriously, but Ward was in top form for most of this battle and when he’s in his bag he’s a tough out. We win.

I’ll say this about A Ward: he’s a machine. When he’s on, which is often, he’s *technically* probably the best doing it right now. Unfortunately his delivery is super annoying, usually, and it’s hard to get behind his stage presence. This was not one of those times…I found him pretty believable and easy to listen to. It took Verb’s best to compete, and this was for sure Verb’s best.
