I recommend to book the fights from the same Carrier that way if something goes wrong you can get the refund fast !!!! Third party companies will take months or they won’t refund you any money !
I used to work for a travel exchange agency, and a customer gave me a complete list on how to book cheap flights, and tricks, unfortunately I lost the document 😔 she booked flights from New York to Hawaii for 250 round flight, and not to mention the hotel stays way to cheap at lux properties like the ritz
One caution. I know you are young and healthy and don't care where you are as long as you have a seat on the plane. My travel companion has a mobility issue and does not wish to wear her braces on flights as they are uncomfortable and she will be sitting most of all of the time. This means that her walking ability is limited and she needs to be as near the plane's entry door as possible, so we need to reserve seats in advance. Years ago, airlines used to provide this free for medical need, but those days are gone. Seat reservation fees can vary widely. For example, I recently booked an international flight. I had narrowed my search to 2 flights, about the same fare, and each could claim some advantages. But....one had a seat reservation fee of $39 and the other had a fee of $119. It made the decision a lot easier.

Thank you for watching! Unfortunately I don’t really have a trick I just play around with it, usually on Momondo. I find that with dirt cheap flights there is usually a longish layover anyway. Or at least when I was flying often - pre Covid times
Hey!! I love long layovers to visit family and friends. You can actually set sort to total trip time. It shows fastest first so go to the end of search results. Will show longer total trip times which means the lay over is longer!!! I use sky scanner for this. Hope this helps. I’ve used it to visit family in Denver and Vegas:)

I have very bad experienced with 3rd party. When something goes wrong it was a headache. I did not get the full information after I booked my tickets. I get the run around, got cheated on. I swear I will never book via 3rd party ever again. I try to book it directly from the airlines. But will look into these sites you mention. I take your words for it.

Skyscanner has also the feature with "everywhere" as destination. And 150 dollar is still very expensive.. And that for Domestic in the US? Wow.. I can travel to almost every country in Europe for maximum of 11 euros. That's not even 13 dollars. The few countries that are not for 11 euro; are not more than 25 euros. And many other countries in the middle east and asia and Africa for the same 25 euros. Many stops around the world (not for 1 day stop, but world traveling) will not cost more than 125 euro (for example; Amsterdam to Milaan (11), than fly to Oman (21) or Abu Dhabi (19) and than Singapore (40) and finally Indonesia (39). That's what I do this year)

You should get the ticket/itinerary sent to your email. On the day of your flight, you'll have to go to the airport and have them print out your boarding pass.

Bigger busy airports usually will give you a better price traveling on domestic or international. i live 20 miles from PHL airport and i always used JFK to travel in Asia ...$300 cheaper and JFK has so many selections of airlines with few connecting flights.
Yeah you have to otherwise they place a cookie on your computer or phone so they lie about seating availability so you’ll panic and purchase the ticket at a higher price . The promotions Allegiant is currently offering is the same it’s listed for on the site so that’s a marketing gimmick they use to manipulate you to book travel through them ! 🤔🤬they also LIE about seating available and show seats “x” out as if they’re full while the Yt NOT to manipulate the public to book right away...NOT cool! Just try from different browser with cookies blocked or private browsing in safari ie and you’ll get entirely different prices for exact same flight date time etc!!!!

EURail is like $20 per train ticket to each European country. If you fly to Europe, you no longer need to fly in Europe. Europeans are luckier with this.

I learned alot today. I knew the mistake flights existed but didnt know how it worked or where to get the deal. The only thing I would say is hopper lately has been alot of clickbait. Other than that, if I want to go to central america(el salvador specifically) I have to do a year in advance for christmas in order to get a 300 dollar flight, because there is a lot of festivities during sept oct nov dec. But right now they're like 800. Also, united at the moment isnt charging for flight exchange unless charges apply I had to change my flight for a week and they only charged me 60 bucks, still kept my window seats

I’m from New Orleans -Airport (MSY) Although I’ve tried to find cheap flights from all of the resources you supplied, their still around 1,500/ person to fly out of the country & they don’t come as remotely discounted as YVR or YYZ. But those 2 websites are only flying from Canada. How can I find recourses like YVR or YYZ where flights have “messed up” and given at a very low price, around my state, like Canada’s?

I just used priceline after cancelling an Airbnb in South beach. Found a good deal on same day we cancelled and they even gave me an extra $30 off for booking over the call. Glad I did so because our Airbnb was kind of grimy so yes i'd recommend and they were fast to send me itinerary via email. It was also the best deal I could find for Miami for under $400 without staying at some shady motel.

Sometimes I just use the 3rd party sites to compare the prices and scope the dates, then I go to the airline directly to actually book
