3:20 Thats Acapela Rachel doing the ASDO off announcement
For the next on board video after that Merseyrail one, maybe do London Marylebone to Oxford?
Main reason: when it gets to Bicester Village, there are bilingual announcements.
Nice it would cool for a Class 450 to be on a Weymouth service
That does happen with this new timetable, it’s 07:09 Poole to Waterloo on a weekday, only runs as a single 450 at the moment. The only other 450 units run from POOLE to Bournemouth at 09:58, 15:58 and there’s another one that leaves Southampton and gets to POOLE at 17:57. hope this clarifies.
Pretty sure Elinor will be on every train soon
can't wait until that happens! elinor is also on the 1995 stock (london underground northern line) for newer recordings (e.g. battersea extension) alongside celia
Nice video of Celia onboard announcements on the Class 444.
Your welcome, this may be a stupid question but what is ASDO I know DSBO.@@Parallel395
@@jamiehooper5328 ASDO is automatic selective door operation for stations with short platforms (e.g. Rowlands Castle on the Portsmouth Direct)
Oh so for short platforms they will announce that on carriages where doors won't open i.e Coach 7 of 10@@LokiAvivson
Apparently Rodger is now at Evesham stations and annoucnements are a bit louder (I think before it was Anne and announcements were quiet) I also noticed the spakers are now pentagon and not the old horn ones.@@Parallel395
Nice one, What headcode/service was this filmed on as that was a different stopping pattern than normal
Thanks. I can't remember but it was a morning service on Saturday 08/07. We did also stop at Basingstoke but this wasn't programmed into the PIS.
That’s weird that Basingstoke wasn’t on the PA system, after leaving Southampton Central, those services normally call at Southampton Airport Parkway, Winchester, Basingstoke, Clapham junction and London Waterloo. You also need to do the ones leaving Weymouth at three minutes past the hour, which only call at Dorchester South, Wareham, Hamworthy,Poole, Parkstone, Branksom, Bournemouth, Brokenhurst, Southampton Central, Southampton Airport Parkway, Winchester, Woking and London Waterloo.
Interesting stopping pattern. I’m guessing this was on either a Sunday or strike day.
Can't have been a Sunday as it was calling at Holton Heath. I reckon its an early morning one like the 06:50 off Weymouth or something like that
@@SWTransportI completely forgot Holton Heath has no Sunday service. You’re probably right.
@@NetworkX90 It was a late morning service on Saturday 08/07, it was a different pattern to usual but I can't think why. I don't think it was a strike day
Nice! Do you know if you'll do any London Underground lines?
Thanks - Possibly. I find them difficult to record on board due to all the excessive noise
@@Parallel395 oh okay. i usually go to the very back or front of the train for the best announcements on the deep level stock. not sure about the s stock...
I know that line very well, as my local station is on that line.
