It's too late for me to back away from my mother now, because she's dead, but I NEEDED TO, as she had become demon possessed following her use of the Ouija board when I was 11, and demons don't LEAVE, they DECEIVE. She morphed into a monster after that, and literally tried to kill me several times (once when I was 16 I awoke to find a man in my room with a knife, and my dog, which was sleeping at the end of my bed, saved my life. From the things he said, it is obvious to me now that she had hired him). However, I was deceived, because although I left the state for more than a decade, I thought she repented, as her behavior totally changed, and when I got back home, I resumed my relationship with her. But she did subtle things to harm me the rest of her life, and really TERRIBLE things happened to me when I had resumed my relationship with her. To have demon or "unclean" spirits in you would be a form of possession. and if you don't have the holy spirit in you, could you have just your own? or is it automatically an "unclean" spirit if it's not the holy spirit? Usually, it only takes one time of firm faith praying with curses, but soul-ties may need more until the effects go away.
