What caught my attention about the new driver is that, in addition to the fps, it has lower temperature values than the old versions.
That is possible. In general, lower fps is probably a result of a lower GPU utilization, and from that less heat is generated from the GPU. But It is more complicated than that, because the CPU is also affected, 1% Lows...

A "cooler" driver most often means less GPU utilization and fps. So, you have to decide what you want to achieve.

hello, I have laptop rtx 3050 and I play mostly cs2, which best driver? and also I have a now 556.12 when I play cs2 sometimes the frame rate goes from 10 ms to 150 ms, sometimes it goes to 50-60 ms and there are lags. I downloaded 551.86 and I saw many people recommend this version. (and I saw many people recommend 537.58 but this version does not give more fps. To be honest I did not try it but I really do not know, I am very confused
537.58 is a good choice for CS2 and your laptop.

I cannot revert back from my latest driver to a debloated driver, I am obligated to stay in the new driver, BEWARE OF UPDATING YOUR 4080 GPU, the driver crashes when installing, does not matter what you do it doesn't let me revert drivers, WARNING!!!!!
Ofc you can't revert drivers, you have to use DDU to remove the drivers first in safe mode and check the box to not let windows install the driver and then you boot into normal mode and install your desired driver.
