I’m having some health issues with my joints, but we had a family trip planned for New York City. This th-cam.com/users/postUgkxuxJwamLFanm476LC5WPeTouyyU1GXomC was perfect! It’s lightweight enough that my friend could carry it up or down stairs when we needed to. (I can walk very short distances) It was comfortable for me to sit in, I would say if you’re super tall it might be a little cramped. I’m 5’1” and the foot rests were the perfect height. This may not be the best one for long term use, you get what you pay for, but for something that fits our budget that gives me accessibility while we deal with my health this was amazing.
Hi I am also a wheelchair user I always wish we have such facility that will enable life easy for spinal cord injury people here in our environment it is difficult to move around
as a man with sca freideichs ataxia i get out of my wheelchair and do my best to walk up those steps..yes its dangerous!! but i also bench press too...it doesnt look pretty..
Your place is beautiful and such a convenient location! I love your puppy. Did you have to train him to behave in public or did he always do the right thing? I use an electric wheelchair. I’d like to take my dog out with me more but he sometimes barks at other dogs.
I'm in an electric wheelchair too and I walk my German Shepherd. When I first rescued her she was very reactive to any animal but with a bunch of practice she has gotten so much better. If you need suggestions on how to reduce reactivity I don't mind sharing some suggestions!
@@yourhandicapneighbor6218 He is quiet an anxious dog by nature so I would say when he reacts to other dogs it’s a defensive/fear based thing. If you want to contact me directly you can. I don’t know to give you my email though without putting it here for all of TH-cam to see. 🤷🏻♀️
@@shazthorndike6566 I don't know how to DM on here either lol. The easiest way I found was to distract my dog with either a treat or a favorite toy when they see another dog. I would only give my dog a reward if they reacted well. If they freak out you should lead your dog away to an isolated area to calm down. That's something I had to do during every walk. You have to make sure to do the same rules every time.
Hey sammy what us your surname were you at school at Valence School in Kent as I knew a sam ashman think that rhe correct spelling I know she went back to OZ and you look just like her but older!
