I think what people don't realise is that these guys are putting on a show, yes they're competing, the fact Michael now competes in mma is proof that this style can be effective against other styles, I've only seen two of his ucmma fights but he has kept his hands down in both at walked over his opponents. I'm sure he's not so thick as to realise that his hands need to go up against people who can strike at his level

It's weird because no knockdowns are allowed in neither light nor point contact categories, this and other vids have led me to believe that kickboxing's refeering didn't use to be very good in smaller events like this.

I also dont call 39 straight tournament victories from 1988 - 1991, or a 21-1-1 full contact record, including a European full contact title - as me being a lemon who stands on the sideline. I've done my time on the matt and in the ring! I was calling it as i saw it - my prerogative! Alfie is Ok, a talented kid no doubt, though save the cocky till he is better - then more justified! His Style comes from Lau Gar. He learnt this style from his dad Curtis. If you watch old videos of his dad fighting you'll see where he gets his Style from. His dad was an exceptional fighter as well.

Why on earth would Alfie act so so cocky, drop to one knee with a salute, just for landing one shot then spend the rest of the fight running totally scared??? Alfie walks around tournaments so full of himself! Michael's 84kg (only slightly heavier) but totally owned him. Alfie's not bad but has along way to go before he will be able to justify his level of cocky behaviour. Running scared aint cool!
