I can tell you, as a coffee lover, the JURA is by far the most reliable. I have had the J5 model for almost 13 years and it has never broken down once, never failed, never. I had a Krups and that one was always getting repaired. Jura is the way to go.
Yes I bought a refurbished 220v J5 issued 2010 and it’s working fine ever since. Never use dark roast or flavoured coffee beans. Despite its dinosaur model, it delivers because it used to be flagship model. Subsequent models have so many bangs & whistles. A super automatic coffee machine is enough. I believe Jura brand is the Mercedes Benz of coffee machines in mid 2000.
We go ours in the same time frame, 110v version. Never a problem until it recently went to the coffee farm in the sky. You don't know what you have until you don't!
The only way to "reset" is to shut off & on the rear power switch, which boots it. Then, the top switch powers it up and after heating, you do the rinse it asks for which positions the infuser ready to brew. If some or none of this happens, there's an electrical or mechanical malfunction that will need fixing.

Very Sharp Eye! -=on, 0=off and they pressed 0. Guess the video editor missed that.
Very good Jura J5 review . J6 seems the same just color difference (piano black) .
Never beats Breville dual boiler
That's a different league - the J5 is a single boiler.
