Big or small, spending time honing your craft and performing in venues is vital on the journey to becoming a successful touring and recording artist. We must never live in a world where live music venues don’t exist. They are as important for the artist as they are for the countless visitors and of course the dedicated staff that devote themselves to running those rooms like clockwork. Venues offer a joy, an escape and a magic you just don’t experience through a screen or even through a stereo speaker. At all costs, we must save our venues.

Watching this in 2022, makes me realize how far we've got after the pandemic. We the musicians had to endure some realy tough times (and everybody too), and seeing James doing this absolute demonstration of resilience and passion, love for music is deeply touching and inspiring. absolutely love this guy. he's the definition of an artist. he literally made everyone feel like they were personally in that room as he was talking and performing straight to them. then there's the insane quality of his writing, playing and singing to boot. Honey I love both Johnny and dad so much j was just present at the time and presently with Love and it was so massive and dad I was the same but in memory and I forgot or cushioned a lot because I broke down afterwards like I have for Johnny and it’s only now that I clearly remember and feel both of them. Please love them both coz we are family who love each other. I put a lot into both of them and losing each of them is hard for me. The hardest. I know it wasn’t easy for you either I know we’ve been loved by many but their love was so big for me I was engulfed and enriched by it. I still have it from both and I think the difference is I can not cry about dad at the moment because I’ve dealt with it more but I still cry about j coz I haven’t and it’s still very raw. I don’t know how to live with out him and with out you in my life. I barely survive.

I think the only reason he doesn’t get the credit and recognition he deserves is simply because he didn’t sell out. He seems like a genuinely nice guy and the same person now, as he was when he first broke onto the scene.

Annie Even though that song had NOTHING to do with actually “moving” HAHA while we were driving my only son to college 4 years ago, this song came on and I just started crying. I looked over and my husband was crying and in the backseat, my son had started to cry as well. It was a touching moment for all of us as my only child was leaving us to start a new life 5 1/2 hours away from us. I was beyond broken but as well as excited for him. That song will forever be special to me for that moment in my life will remain in my memory for eternity. 😭💔💕
