    Hey dr.damaato... my boy which, you did an enocilation, is doing. Just fine...he is doing amazing!!!!! Thankyou you are World Class

    I'm very sorry Debra, I do know how you feel. I lost my left eye to this 10 years ago, I have a nevus in my right eye and have to go to eye specialists often.

      Thanks Mary - I'm doing a bit better.. and just had the all clear from my latest scans. I love hearing from long term survivers :)

    I swear I missed 75% of what the doctors said when, and after, my diagnosis. I can literally remember seeing their mouths moving, but not one word went in. They were wonderful and empathetic doctors, but I should have had counselling during and after. I'm almost 12 months in. I had enucleation. I'm scared I'm going to die young. I hate how I look. I cope ok some days, others I have bouts of crying. I have a low grade of PTSD. It hasn't been fun.

      Hello Debra. I do hope you are well. My husband is due to have his left eye removed next week. Its a very scary journey. My prayers are with you and god bless you have a wonderful pain and symptom free long life.😊
