Would you bench Bo Nix if he wasn't playing well on Sunday vs. Buccaneers? Would it help him avoid developing bad habits or would it shake his confidence? Let us know what you think!
Loved this interview. Jake was underappreciated by me after years of John Elway and his magic. Plummer made magic too. A great player. Really love his humility and made me feel better about Nix as this guy actually knows football. Yes, always on the rocks and let it breathe.
Phil Milani, it's great to see you back in the mix. Glad you got this interview. I was greatly disappointed when the Broncos let Jake Plummer go back then. I alway thought he was one of Denver's most underrated QBs. Good luck with you channel Phil.
This was a really good interview! Plumber is an honest dude, great guy. More people should listen to what he has to say. Appreciate him taking the time to provide his insight here!
Man what a great interview Phil! I love this guy, loved him as a Broncos QB and I think I love him more now lol. This show should be watched in a theater setting and the entire current team should be the audience. He was spot on about saying "hey you got that big contract, now go out there and do it." I'm pumped up just after watching it! Great show today, great guest and Let's go Broncos!!
Awesome interview Phil! I am glad Jake went to such depths to share his perspective on the Broncos young QB. It's definitely a process and he needs the help around him! But man I feel like the meat of this interview was him sharing his life experiences and all those call backs to 90s and 00s NFL and the Broncos. Those days certainly felt like a "golden" era for Broncos Country. Glad to have witnessed. Hopefully we get this season back on track and the team makes the strides we believe they can. Go Broncos!
My dad was a Cardinals fan going back to when they were in Chicago, when he was very young. Through the years he always loved the cardinals wherever they went. Through the years he lost interest in football but always followed what the cardinals were doing. When the cardinals drafted Plummer though, his interest in football started picking up, and when Jake started his first few games my dad became an active fan again. Didn't matter how many picks he threw, my dad started watching a lot of football because he appreciated the person and player Jake is and was. And he appreciated the comebacks and what Jake helped do for the team he loved going back to when he first knew what football was. Now my dad hated the broncos for some reason, but i was a die hard broncos fan going back to when i figured out what football was. I loved John elway for the comebacks, the impossible victories, the throws you'd never see from any other player, not the picks or the Superbowl losses. So when Jake came aboard my dad loved Jake so much he'd watch broncos games with me. And he was such a believer in what Jake could do, he'd keep reminding me during the amazing games, that he wasn't surprised what Jake helped the broncos do because he saw all this stuff from when Jake was a cardinal. So if Jake signs off on Bo, we all better be patient. Remember elway tried to take a snap from under one of his guards once...
Heck yeah this is so awesome, missed you Phil! Always had love for Jake the Snake, he was my first jersey ever, I remember the one time we lost I wasn't wearing my jersey and my dad told it me it was my fault for not wearing it jokingly 😂 I was all bummed
Let Bo develop like a qb ought to. Peyton manning was 4-11 his rookie year WITH Marvin Harrison. Enough of blame game, we are Rocky Mountain built, let’s act like it and show loyalty of the Rocky Mountains !! Rocky Mountain tough !!
Love listening to Jake! Great attitude during and after his football career. What a treasure trove of wisdom and experience. I always thought he should never have been benched or traded when they drafted Cutler. That was a huge mistake by the Broncos... and the beginning of the end for Coach Shanahan in Denver.
Fascinating interview. Jake is one of the under-appreciated Broncos from the past. Wonderful attitude that needs to be instilled in this current iteration of the Broncs. Great job , Phil! Glad you found another platform to continue your commentary on the Broncos.
This was the most honest takes I’ve heard on this team in quite some time. I believe he’s speaking directly about Patrick Surtain II and Courtland Sutton specifically. Jake played with Champ. PSII does not make enough game changing plays in the game to justify him being crowned “best corner in the league.” Champ attacked the ball and had a “the ball is mine” mentality that I just don’t see with PSII. Courtland sutton is way too big and slow, we don’t seem to have the natural born leaders on either side of the football. PSII specifically needs to step up more, he just got paid alot of money to be getting called for PI and illegal touching down the field. PSII needs to chill on the crowning himself and go make some god damn plays.
I really liked this interview with Jake. I enjoyed listening to him. I wish he would consider being a head coach in this league. I really do think he would make a great NFL coach.
I believe playing and going through the fire will ultimately develop Bo more than sitting on the bench ever could. It’s not like he has a really good veteran qb to sit behind and learn from.
Quit drinking in 2010 and never looked back, but if there is one thing I miss is the smell of a fine Bourbon. This was my fist watch and it won't be my last. Miss you in Broncos media, with you and Mase gone it feels hollow but this was awesome loved hearing from Jake...that 05 season was incredible I was a new father and my Broncos were back baby!
Congrats! Awesome to hear! It’s great to be back talking Broncos. Appreciate you checking out the show. Hope to have great content and interviews each Friday!
Broncos need a culture change cause the fans generally don't understand football and have a fast food mentality. At least WAS fans study context and film. Broncos fans have no semblance of understanding context so far. They don't realize they're 85mil dead cap, etc. It doesn't click.
Nice interview Phil! I liked Jake’s comments about players stepping up and being accountable. Also what will it take to get the running game going? It seems like they arent very creative. Would motion help?
When are we going to talk about the worst offensive line in the nfl. Over paid second stringers on any other team. If you can't protection don't matterthe schemes. I blame the o-line for 80% of our problems
Plummer hit it on the head, this team has no leaders to hold the players accountable especially on offense. What is frustrating for me is a lot of the players came back and the offense is the same, so the team should be further a long to help out the rookie quarterback. I am also disappointed in Sean. Having a rookie quarterback throw the ball 42 times in Seattle…really? So frustrating.
Anybody acting like it's Nix's fault when there's literally no one around him doing anything right not named Vele... and Reynolds only recently stepped up last week... You can't have your rookie qb be the leading rusher and blame him without calling yourself an idiot first. It's not just on his footwork. So dumb. Ditto with WR's who are supposed to be lifelines for him, but instead who drop everything. The team has severely underperformed around him and you're just looking for a scapegoat. Payton needs to do play action, they need a run game. You need a TE who can actually catch and run the right routes. This team hasn't even been functional around him so far. He needs NFL level play around him to do well as a rookie qb, not subpar performances. Highkey need whomped upside the head (HARD) for even thinking it's ever just been on Nix.
Amazing how fast all the rats run to hide behind the rookie QB to shield themselves from accountability. It happened to Zach on the Jets, and it is already happening to Bo on the Broncos. I bet the coaches here do not also rat out and hide behind Zach the way the Jets coaches did. Worst of all was the owner piled on. Completely reprehensible. It is easy to spot the cancers.
Great stuff, as always, Jake. You’re a lifetime favourite and always will be, mate. Would LOVE to help the mushroom biz with free PR/web marketing advice if ever it might prove helpful. Go Broncos
BRONCOS ARE PATHETIC, STARTING WITH SEAN PAYTON...SIMPLE BENCH BO NIX, put Zach Wilson for the Best Chance to Win. Nix has no experience, I DOUBT NIX experience and ability, NOW
The narrative for a rookie quarterback is that usually, a tight end is their best friend. The thought is that rookie quarterbacks will have a more significant target share in the tight end position. These young players find comfort in the short area of the field in which a tight end will be running routes. Dulcich
Good knowledge from Jake. I really think the Broncos can get this running game going by running out of spread formations more. I also think Bo can use his legs more, and SP can call some more designed runs by Bo. He had 1 designed run last game and got a good gain. That is it. You have to put pressure on defenses to defend everything.
Would you bench Bo Nix if he wasn't playing well on Sunday vs. Buccaneers? Would it help him avoid developing bad habits or would it shake his confidence? Let us know what you think!
No he needs the whole season to learn even if that cost us the season, we need to know if he is our guy going forward 💯
We probably should have started Stiddy in hindsight. But I think we have to run with it now. Let him grow.
@@MrMileHighStephenSteelstidham would be playing worse, just stop 🛑
Absolutely not. Right not Bo is the best player on that team, if they bench him, that says they are tanking for first round pick.
Nope. Gotta stick with it now. Better or worse.
Loved this interview. Jake was underappreciated by me after years of John Elway and his magic. Plummer made magic too. A great player. Really love his humility and made me feel better about Nix as this guy actually knows football. Yes, always on the rocks and let it breathe.
Thanks, Tom!!! Jake was superb!! And I’ll let the bourbon breathe this week!
They don't make em like Jake Plummer anymore. Awesome interview, Phil great job letting the guest speak without interruption. Top notch stuff.
Thanks for checking out the show! Jake had so much insight to offer! Hope to bring great interviews like this every week!
Jake the Snake!! Jake made a great point: Who’s the leader? Who’s getting paid the big money? Who’s gonna step up?
It'll be Vele cause clearly some players are overpaid.
@maskcollector6949 Sutton asking for more money is a joke bro
@@vicchin8655 He even got an extra million but he's not showing up on game day. If checked out and going through the motions was a person.
Thanks for checking out the show! Hope to bring great interviews like this every week!
Awesome interview and conversation! Jake always brings great energy. It’s easy to see why guys played hard when he was on the field.
Jake was fired up!! Love it!! Thanks for watching the show!
Phil Milani, it's great to see you back in the mix. Glad you got this interview. I was greatly disappointed when the Broncos let Jake Plummer go back then. I alway thought he was one of Denver's most underrated QBs. Good luck with you channel Phil.
Appreciate it!! Great to be back talking about the Broncos. Hope to have great interviews like this every week!
The Snake! My childhood Broncos QB! Love getting to listen to this dude, Jake always has great perspective on things. Another awesome episode, Phil! 🫡
“If you’re watching the Broncos, you might need this” 💀😂
Thanks for checking out the show! Hope to bring great interviews like this every week!
this show was a fever dream i had once. broncos and bourbon!! two great things in one show!
Love that Jake always spits facts and doesn’t shy away from the truth even if it stings
Straight up respect to Jake Plummer 💯
This was a really good interview! Plumber is an honest dude, great guy. More people should listen to what he has to say. Appreciate him taking the time to provide his insight here!
Forgot to add-Do NOT bench Bo. He's the future. Keep building him up!
Thank you for checking out the show! Jake had a lot of smart things to say. Loved his insight!
Man what a great interview Phil! I love this guy, loved him as a Broncos QB and I think I love him more now lol. Thank you so much!! Appreciate you checking out the show! The team certainly responded! Maybe they watched it too! 😂

Love Jake the Snake!!!
Thanks, Jake! Tell it like it is! I was wondering who dog on the Broncos! We some players to hold their teammates accountable!
This fan base, has shown very little ability to be patient with player growth. Well most of the world is instant gratification or bust.
Broncos need a culture change cause the fans generally don't understand football and have a fast food mentality. At least WAS fans study context and film. Broncos fans have no semblance of understanding context so far. They don't realize they're 85mil dead cap, etc. It doesn't click.

I know you do! 😂🎉
You need to get a whiskey ball ice mold. Much better than using standard ice.
Been using a giant square mold! Those ball molds too are cool too. Love the look in the glass. Harder to use those molds though?
What time is bourbon ?

Gotta earn the rocks!! 💪 Love that. Gonna do it near this week
Sounds like a benching would help Bo. Humble reflection. Listen to what Jake is saying

Broncos players need to step up and play ball. And Coach Sean Payton needs to step down and find another job elsewhere.
We had a LEADER his name was Justin Simmons
Miss Jake! Good vibe dude of all time!! Should have never got cutler. 🫤🫤

@BroncosandBourbon You have to do a live at least once a week especially when you have a guess like Jake
Good idea!! Will look to incorporate some live down the road!
BRONCOS ARE PATHETIC, STARTING WITH SEAN PAYTON...SIMPLE BENCH BO NIX, put Zach Wilson for the Best Chance to Win. Nix has no experience, I DOUBT NIX experience and ability, NOW
You need a new team.
Wilson does not deserve any chances with this franchise he's trade bait. He had his time and he can play elsewhere. This is Nix's team.

Dulcich is the worst starting TE I've ever seen after last week.

If Jake and Shanny could have worked it out they could have won multiple Super Bowls together.
