Event MVPs hunt for events, do they use the Event Recorder in AL and Business Central?

I use the event recorder very rarely, only in case I want to demonstrate the list of hundreds or thousand events it produces and then challenge someone to pick the right one. :D
Usually I explore the base code to find the correct event, and that can be done without the event recorder.

Watch out for multiple calls on an event. I tried to update a sales header using the onopen trigger on the page (change posting date to TODAY). Unfortunately, one of the events that is called when validating the Posting Date normally is the same trigger. So, you could never change the posting date to another date. Sigh.....

Thank you Erik. I still Struggling to find exact events. Event recorder Give me more trouble showming thousands of events. I usually go to the table to the find for copyfrom events otherwise check in actions. I added a field to the cust ledger entry and then i shoud show that data when user applying invoices to do the payment through cash receipt journal i couldn't find events yet. Can you help Erik😊.
