Super disappointed with the dribble styles this year... feels like if you're not using Kyrie you're permanently hitched. Having only one dribble style that feels smooth and it being the most expensive one to unlock is really shitty.
I think this I how they made speed with ball matter. Tbh I think it’s fair you should have to invest a lot to get the best things. It’s the same with jump shot animations and dunk packages as well
I love zach Lavine’s when same side speedboosting out of escape Hesi’s or between the legs escapes. The animations just flow really well and doesn’t hitch up your speed boosts like other styles.

Informative, but I think it would be a little more helpful to give us a guide on how the dribble style can be useful. I don’t think that particular dribble sequence “showcases” how each style can be used. Magic for example, last 2k everyone said it was trash, but it was good if you did a moving cross/behind and then went downhill with that ball hand speed boost. I know it’s hard to try to come up with a test like that, but I think the dribble styles are really supposed to be there to literally offer different styles for different dribblers. Everybody ain’t all got the Koza skilled thumbs 😂 so I think showing how to use the dribble styles effectively for playstyle or build would be a great series.

For his signatures you need a 88 Ball Handle. Now the 88 Ball handle can be hit at the height of 6'6 but you can't put Speed With Ball to 88 since it's caps at 85. I lowered wingspan & still didn't move. How am I the same height as Kobe yet I can't even use his dribble style.

I recently changed from paul george to kawhi to now leonard. i have had the same jumpshot but yet my catch and shoot and the way the feet shuffle (i believe this to be the motion part of the animation vs the base jumpshot) seems to be different when i change between the three players listed. Please if possible do some testing and confirm/deny!!!!

People suck so much at 2K24 that I had to create a guard cause guards can’t shoot shit. I got 17 rebounds in the park giving these 2 guards (3pt shooters) the ball and they keep bricking. I have to take over and get the rebound and go coast to coast and ended up scoring 15 points and win the game. Fortunately, the other team was equally bad. Now, I’m gonna get my ball handling up and my speed/ball acceleration up and go dominate the park and REC cause I’m done losing.

I bet my first game in rec, I will score 30+ if they pass the ball. Yeah, shooting is easier for me and has been since I started playing this game. Now, you’re trash (back at you).

Magic dribble style can dribble ball hand you just have to do a R2/RT escape move first and he will speed boost either way
