I smile so hard when I see him on stage. He gave me goosebumps in the trial scene. Shout out to Martin for writing such a brilliant character with much-needed representation.
Tywin played by Charles Dance was honestly the best actor on the show and since he was killed off things just got very dull very quickly..

GOT was one of the reasons i had to visit Northern Ireland this past fall. So beautiful and I fell in love with Belfast.

You can easily see that Peter didn't want to accept that award. He has ALWAYS been one of the GoT actors who didn't hide their dissatisfaction with the later seasons of the show. He KNOWS that he shouldn't have won that because of season 8.
He is bummed that nobody else got an award- not even Lena, not even for Best Cast Ensemble! That is why he thanked/credited all the people in Belfast and all the cast and the producers. For Best Actor in TV drama, the others are close, but they factor in screentime so in terms of that, only Kit would have been eligible. In terms of female GOT cast, only Lena really clearly deserves it. The others like Sophie and Maisie, while great acting within the character, still really need to show natural and deep acting capability. There is also the fact that Dinklage's personality is very different from his Tyrion personality and he is able to portray depth. Love it or hate it, we are still here months after. HBO was too stupid to let a show that big go. The actors were willing to go on. The producers did not want it just like Jon Snow did not want the Iron Throne lol

oh my, the edge. Game of Thrones was overall one of the best shows ever. It went down hill at some point in season 6, 7 was weak, and 8 was terrible. But tiny people like you who only remembers the last episode they watched, shits way too much on GoT now. It's sad.

It was amazing to be a part of the greatest show ever made. We only crossed each others path a couple of times but he had an awesome presence on set.

I love Peter Dinklage. He is an amazing actor, and brilliant as Tyrion, but he didn't deserve all the awards and nominations he received for seasons 7 and season 8. Okay, maybe he did deserve to be nominated, but winning? Why does giving awards to great actors of the same show like Nikolaj and Alfie make academies nauseous? Why is it that only Peter wins and not them, who were as good as, if not better than Dinklage for so long? I am happy for Peter, but this is simply unfair.

Peter Dinklage without a doubt deserved this, but I can't help but think that some love could have been given to Emilia Clarke and others as well because that was also an exceptional performance despite any perceived writing flaws. And I don't think I know anyone personally who thought his best work was in season 8, but some Emilia's really was. Anyway, it was still a really good speech and as I said he deserved it as well, so congrats Peter! :)
