China keep on insisting on history that has no legal basis. Fishermen from nations around that sea ventured in that area before, not only chinese. Indonesians, Malaysians, Vietnamese, Brunei and Filipinos were fishing in that sea long long time ago. It is only China that claimed they owned the entire sea. UNCLOS was approved and signed by almost all nations purposely to avoid misunderstanding among nations when it comes to territorial seas. But because of China's greediness they violated it. Peace and stability in the region will only achieve if China obey international law (UNCLOS).

ur argument is the history in 1947, before 1947 did you ever think the people in the philiipines is already fishing in that disputed islands? u cant compare ur 1947 history and the law that was established to respect the economic zone of each country. only issue her is that you have put bounderies and restrict pilipino fisherfolks to freely fish in the EEZ. ur just doing ur claims now because ur now one of the superpower. lets switch situations. philippines is the super power and ur not. are you ok that we claim the whole south china sea and put bounderies in your fisherfolks? disrespect the law of the sea? and watercannon ur chinese boats. what would you feel? i guess the same thing we are doing right now. reaching out other countries for support of our claims.

You claim the Ching dynasty delineated a U-shaped map line showing sovergnty of most of the the south china sea. Please tell me where, what historical maps?
Former Justice Carpio asserts that all historical maps of China, predating 1947 show Hunan as the southernmost part of china.

The law is very important in all matters. The history is not important
bcoz its very confused the people.
For example just like we make boundary, that must use law to defend or protect your borders or
    lands taken by somebody freely.
In that case, we need law of land
from Land & Survey Dept. for get it grant . The same also in South China Sea dispute, that why the
International Law must very important in that matter.

Hainan (Chinese: 海南; pinyin: About this sound Hǎinán (help·info) ; Hainanese: Hái-nâm; Jyutping: Hoi2 Naam4; literally: "South of the Sea [Qiongzhou Strait]") is the smallest and southernmost province of the People's Republic of China (PRC). The name "Hainan" also refers to Hainan Island (海南岛, Hǎinán Dǎo), the main island of the province. Hainan is located in the South China Sea, separated from Guangdong's Leizhou Peninsula to the north by the shallow and narrow Qiongzhou Strait.
Hainan was part of Guangdong Province until 1988, when the island became part of the newly created Hainan Province (海南省, Hǎinán Shěng).
The province has an area of 33,920 square kilometers (13,100 sq mi) and is China's southernmost province

  • @zhangmaverick
    @zhangmaverick 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

it is "in accordance with law" that China will neither participate in nor accept a case at a UN arbitration court unilaterally initiated by the Philippines over disputes in the South China Sea. It added that the case lacks both legitimacy and justification.
The Untied States and Japan are ignoring basic facts, making the groundless accusation, aiming to set China against neighbors. China has indisputable sovereignty over Nansha Island and adjacent waters, backed by historical and legal evidence. The construction on China's own territory is not against international law. Philippines' arbitration request is not meant to resolve disputes, but to negate China's right. The most important thing for international law is who defines the international law.

huy tú phạm The case you have mentioned is installed by the United States and idiots, It is not only beneath the International Law and norms, even more beneath the sensible level to discuss that if China will become the dominant power in Asia, because this case is a Pseudo-proposition to refute the rights of territories of China and it is far from the justification to joint the case.

They have many map evidence prove that Paracel Islands and Spratly Islands are parts of Vietnam. On the other hand, the last torritory of China is Hainan island, nothing any more.

From china history of dynasties, no Chinese expedition reached the West Philippines Sea. The famous Chinese explorer Zheng He never ventured towards the Philippines. Chinese interest was to know more the developed culture of Europe. His successive expeditions were towards Europe. The Chinese have no interest with the archipelagic islanders on G-strings they consider lower culture. Therefore, china have no rights to claim the territory and intrude in the exclusive economic zone of the Philippines. All their interest is the oil and gas in the West Philippine Sea. The Chinese speaker is lying through his teeth.
