Man. Carrie was so heroic trying to help everyone who just pranked her. And in the end she could've been killed and chose to tell everyone to go to save themselves
It's also nice how after the epilogue, it must've been Dawn there. And it was most likely that she saw herself in her skin there, and decided to spare her. I doubt Henry would spare Carrie.
@@МихаилБганко yea it seems that Henry was the more aggressive one. If you go and watch a video of them all dying and where we know which killer is which henry is very aggressive

Maxy greets every train with a howl, and everyone knows Roller Ricky is the only one who plays disco. This means she was trying to get into the rink, not the apartment. You may be thinking "Well what if the apartment is right next to the rink?". Look at the map in the radio office. Wood Side Apartment is nowhere near a train line. If she actually was trying to "get into her apartment", the train that blared would've been silent, if not, much quieter than it was.

I think its hilarious how Marie's grand plan for revenge ended up with only two (maybe 3) dead (one not even linked to George), a blown up gas station and waste plant, and her kid getting arrested, all because of some disc jockey
Spoiler alert: I think one of the reasons why the killer spared Carrie regardless of ending is because she remembered George being pranked in the same way years ago? Anyway Carrie is best girl.
I think you should probably not just put the spoiler alert and the spoilers in the same line.... But yeah, Carrie was probably spared because she was a victim of the type of prank that caused the killings at the same time Peggy better girl

Why do I want to see a bunch of comics showing how the all the characters go about their lives after the this story? We do have rough ideas of what they look like and they all have distinct personalities. We could see Forrest skating with Ricky while Peggy plays with Maxy. There would be funerals for Sheriff Mathews, Jimmy, and Clive. Murphy would take proper lessons in self defense so he can protect himself and his kid in the future. Virginia and Plunker would go out for casual drinks at a bar. Sandra and Forrest might even get together and have a relationship thanks to the slight flirting that was tossed between the two. Sandra would also do her best to get Forrest into jazz. I don't know. But these characters interacting with each other in a non horror setting sounds wholesome and is cool to think about the possibilities of each character surviving the experience.

I think the character you're controlling during the epilogue might be Clive. He was never confirmed dead and he seemed like a tough guy, so when what-was-probably-Henry grabbed what-was-probably-Clive during the prologue, he actually survived, but couldn't return to the radio station for obvious reasons. He was hiding out in a saferoom all this time, listening in to the show and keeping track of all of the killer's probable targets. Also, did they ever explain Forrest Nash's background? What got him blacklisted?
“Is there anything else you’d like to say to Mr Pepper Ro… oh my. GODDAMN IT!” That was the funniest thing o heard in this game. It’s great. Edit: it’s at 3:04:10
That was a great gameplay! I'm bummed about one death, but it's not entirely Sean's fault - he already read the meaningful document beforehand, but the game required him to read it again for it to count. This little tweak could potentially save one more person, and Sean wouldn't have to be depressed about it. Similar situation was with the maze map - Sean already took the map out of the bin and read it - why didn't Forrest remember it? Apart from that, the game is really dope!
This mechanics and style in this game is actually incredible, now I kinda wished I bought it for myself instead of watching AstralSpiff and NeatPick play through it
Theory for the next game: Not only does it turn out to be Henry who jumped into the river, but he survived. He met the original whistling man, Mooney, who's now way older. He likes Henry and gives him training, like killing methods. Henry, being the potential Voorhees he is, revels in his talent for butchery.
This game is awesome! I'm going to play this with my brother on Friday! I love the story, the characters were amazing, Ponty calling in a bunch of times to get a free advertisement is fucking hilarious, the way to save the victim of Whistling Man is clever, and the ending is amazing! 10/10 would recommend!
I was just watching another youtuber who made wrong move after wrong move and it was so annoying, thank goodness for people who actually know how to play games
Thanks for the great video highlighting this awesome game, fantastic concept that was perfectly executed. Only wish I would have is that the ending could have been longer to tie up some of the narratives, like more info on Clive, why did they go after the group of teens, Peggy and Forrest's reaction after the final interview if not how the town and saved people will move forward. Hopefully in a sequel somehow?

@@michaelrhodes3285 argh, I had a feeling that was the case, f that guy. Also wow, didn't expect a reply from a months old comment so fast, thanks for the info~
Peggy and Karen having "training getaways" (noted by the boss, his words not mine) give me life, still watching the vid but i just love that detail (don't flail my face off but i think they'd hold hands if you know what i mean? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°))
edit: turns out that Reggie's accidentally a pretty good source of romance gossip (albeit a man who keeps having to budget cut his said material), from misremembering his sons birthday to be a month after to having a super secret script for a horror movie, this mans a riot!
If they turned this into a movie, I'd definitely watch it. This is totally... killer.
(I'm sorry I had to.😅)
Thank you for this, the pizza box was stuck behind the bin in my game and I had no way to progress
Pretty solid voice acting in this game ✨✨
Some of it is a little cheesy, but it's clearly intentional. Sounds like the actors had a lot of fun with the script
I'm a TH-camr and a Gamer too and have played a lot of horror games. And as a Gamer, I will say this gameplay is 10/10 ❤
Keep it up bro.
Keep it up grow 😂
Peggy: Gets mad at Teddy, then tells Forest to play an ad
Forest: Plays the Teddy ad because she walked into this
This game deserves a sequel. Idk how, but it really deserves one!
I really want to write a play based off of this game and make it like a sequel!
@@eliza_rad Hold on. At the end, it sounded like an officer knew the whistling man duo. Think that might be material for a sequel?
Or maybe they'd bring back the original whistling man, following the local legend of Gallows Creek?
@@phillipwhitfield7890 OOO WAIT I LOVE THIS IDEA! I’ll definitely have to plan it out!
@@eliza_rad Glad you like it. Though I wonder... What drove the original whistling man to go psycho? He must have had some reason to become a serial killer, whether it was revenge, not-so-temporary insanity, etc.
@@phillipwhitfield7890 Maybe there is no motive. Like Billy Loomis claimed in "Scream" it's much scarier if there is no motivation.
What a hidden gem this is! I found this game on PlayStation Access live stream recently and I wanted more. Thank you for this, such amazing game, this would definitely be one of my top games this year.
I feel bas for Henry tho, his mom dragged him into it. 😭
Yeap, and with the exception of a few, she misunderstood almost every target but dismissed them and still determined them as being deserving of murder.
"SPOILER"
Teddy fr said "its just a pranked bro"💀💀💀💀💀💀
This feels like an interactive radio drama, and it's expertly written.
Only an hour and a half in, and man... MY DUDE PLUNKER!!! I would give my life for Plunker!
2:08, I NEED THAT SYNTH IN FULL LENGTH MUSIC
Yeah bro that synth music is amazing
2 TWISTS IN ONE ENDING
Roller Ricky & Max; Best characters. No debate.
"Goddamn it, Ponty! No! No Free Ads!" That is the best line ever (BTW, it's at 1:31:57 )
Love this game. But how was Eugene able to make a call from the middle of the Maize Maze?
I just feel like cell phones would’ve been pretty rare for a small town in ‘87.
@@jackalope7774 idk I live in a small town rlly rural like not more than a few hundred ppl and everyone got a phone. Though the storyline takes place in the 1980s so I couldn’t say?
maybe he was like a rich snobby kid or something
@@DARKANDGRIDDY1984 he’s an orphan
@@charjohn2468 oh okay uhhhhh
thanks for saving everyone, was annoying when kubz scouts killed someone by basically forgetting what to do
Main character: keeps complaining that he got sent from Chicago to Gallows Creek
Me: Wonders why he's complaining about something that likely drastically extended his life expectancy outside of freak occurrences like serial killers stalking a 'middle-of-nowhere' town.
This is like "scream" but in the 80s and wow the twist at the end there
1:31:55 "GOD DAMN IT, PONTY! NO! NO FREE ADS!"
"I LOVE YOU MOLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY" Get this man an oscar and Molly as a gf rn
No one seems to acknowledge how cute that part was, Eugene deserves the love,, Man.
2:35:47 We’ll mayor we’re going to need a new hospital, more cops and at 3 or 2 fire trucks.
Thank you for posting this! Tried to watch a popular gamer play this but he kinda sucked and talked way too much and it was all way too distracting 😂
On another note, game developers should take notes from this game. And the voice acting and writing are both superb 👌
Played this game for my channel, it was so good! I hope they do more games in this kind of vein.
ty i was looking for this
I think the character you're controlling during the epilogue might be Clive.
He seems to have a bad temper so he probably blew up at someone and had to leave his original show
*Imagine being serious saving people and then some random dude goes like "IT'S PONTY PONTY PIZZA MY DUDE !!!*crazy cracking luagh*" lol !
genuinely loved ponty, such a funny and great addition to the game
Dawn/Marie has a really good voice actor. Just really wanted to point that out xD
Random fact, but this game came out on my birthday!
I liked this :) . There need to be more investigative/murder mystery games.
This is not a story it a Legend
Wow she said she was going to take four hours and four actually hours went by
you just made me love this game
God listing to the whistling man tap of the cut together lines reminds me of the oldish oxenfree game any time you tuned into the ghost frequency’s
I hope they make a part 2, or a DLC.
GOD DAMNIT PONTY!!
I love the yell “FORREST”
This mechanics and style in this game is actually incredible, now I kinda wished I bought it for myself instead of watching AstralSpiff and NeatPick play through it
In your opinions, who do you think was hardest to save in this game?
For me, it was Eugene.
Eugene,Carrie and friends
eugene, i have a horrible sense of direction
Theory for the next game: Not only does it turn out to be Henry who jumped into the river, but he survived. He met the original whistling man, Mooney, who's now way older. He likes Henry and gives him training, like killing methods. Henry, being the potential Voorhees he is, revels in his talent for butchery.
This game is a hidden gem.
Hopefully Gamersault gives this game the much needed attention it deserves!
I was just watching another youtuber who made wrong move after wrong move and it was so annoying, thank goodness for people who actually know how to play games
27:26 a hint there's more than one Whistling Man.
And also where Maurice tries to kill off the killer but he escaped. Considering there is no lock on the inside, someone had to open it up for them.
3:04:18
I love that line delivery
You know, I kinda want DLC where we get to save non-victims of the situation, like Ponty and Plunker.
What about molly and goose? They were only mentioned so it would be interesting to see what happened to them via some other station or something
@@DARKANDGRIDDY1984 yeah. Sounds fun.
I would pay to see the og killer or a Plunker game
Leslie kind of sound Betty White a moment there
"you'd like to say to Mr pepper ro-OH MY GODDAMN IT"😂😂😂
Thanks for the great video highlighting this awesome game, fantastic concept that was perfectly executed. Only wish I would have is that the ending could have been longer to tie up some of the narratives, like more info on Clive, why did they go after the group of teens, Peggy and Forrest's reaction after the final interview if not how the town and saved people will move forward. Hopefully in a sequel somehow?
It may be a little one sided since we don’t get to see what’s happening on the other side of the line, but it’s a great game.
I rlly thought kaisy cartwright would be dawn seeing as there were clues in the humpty dumpty playbill, the prank makes sense but i thought that kaisy or marie wouldve been the killer who killed george that night boy was i wrong 😂
