First off Tammy thank you for your service and sacrifice. Second thanks for supporting the good country people who participate in Rodeo. This is a very good song about bull riding. As a former Marine I would rather attempt to play quarterback in the NFL against 300 pounders than jump on the back of one of these monsters with attitudes. I just released a bull riding video and song. If you would like to hear/see it search Bull Rider Tribute Doug Welborn and best of luck in rehab. Cowboy up!
my hats off to all those who are rodeo riders cause it takes a whole lot to be on the circuit. People who have never been on a local circuit or never actual been around those who ride the pro circuit. Have no idea nor can they even comprehend what it takes. People are real good at running there mouths when they can't back things up, They would most likely shit themselves if they were even around a horse nevermind a bull.. Again my love for all the rodeo riders.
ive rode to this song many of times i love it! for those of you who respect us that ride i respect each and everyone of yaw thank yaw for supporting us im 15 and im in junior bullriding and i love it plan to ride for the rest of my life and for yaw out there that thankits stupid and you thank you could do it i want to see you get out there and bust your but get scared cut bruised like we do! but it doesnt phase me cause im a true down to earth bull riding cowboy! Bullrider #11
i love this song i listen to it every time im headed to the rodeo helps me get my blood pumpin i got one comin up this week im gettin a early start wish me luck
your welcome its the truth.. I have helped out on local circuits down south in florida for a while and I have friends who ride. Just too many people out there have no idea nor do they understand what it takes to do what you all do. Again my love to all the rodeo riders.. Be you on the pro circuit or a local one. Keep going and achieve what your dreams and goals are.
My son told me at 8 years old that he wanted to be a cowboy. Kinda shocked by it but I said okay I'll let you try it. Before he was 9 this song described him completely. He turns 14 next week and it still does. He is quick to let you know now though that he's not a cowboy, he's a bull rider! Anyway, love the song and the video.
definitely hats off to the riders..and also to all of them who dont get the credit that they deserve...i, myself am a bull fighter for those riders..we really dont enough credit for what we do.....
Its a personal choice of what you wish to wear or not wear when you ride. Those that speak badly of either of those who make the choices that they do. Have no idea what they are saying. Because they have never been in that persons position nor will most ever be. Those who wear a helmet and those who don't are both very much men in my book. Good luck to you all, Be safe and ride hard...
I'm aiming to try out for the PBR next year, I'll be wearing a helmet. Make fun if you want, but I've actually seen live rodeos... the guys with the helmets seem to crawl just as much as the guys with the hats, but at least they're a little safer.
2:00, McBride used to be my favorite rider now i like J.B. Mauney. I'm happy that J.B. won the bull riding section at the Iron Cowboy. Would have been a whole lot cooler if he had won the million dollars.
Wait till 40years later and the Miles in between tell me then you are thankful , once it's in your blood you give everything for it , but the cost you have to believe that you were nuts to start, anyways kid best of luck to you don't get down if you are not always on , you will see up days and a whole lot of short rounds just get up and ride
you should be able to do a search on the net or check with a few of the local ranches down there they could put you in the direction you are looking for. Good luck
i hear ya dude i dont ride with one either but i tell ya this much i had a fun little headbutt with a rank bull last weekend and it knocked me out for a few seconds and busted my face up pretty good, most guys i ride with wear em but us select few who dont honestly need one lmao. but yea for those people who talk shit about us id love to see what is said when given the chance to step up and ride.

good luck to you glad to hear you are ok from your accident. Well most girls have a hard time accepting things that are out of there control. She most likely didn't and doesn't understand why you are so into and drawn to the rodeo circuit. You will find the one who will stand by you for your dedication to what you love and will know you will have enough for her too when you find that right one. Good luck in your riding. I am also sure you got lots of buckle bunnies chasing you too..lol
@aksrbullrider I think it is. 'cause they don't know, what's going on. Same with dog accidents. If you don't understand the dog, and vice versa, you just gonna get yourself in trouble. The fact that they live happy lives (I'm sure, conditions aren't the same all over the country,) is not an exuse to make them uncomfortable, for a short period time. You don't do that to a freind either.
Guys my name is Jake Duffy I'm Makin my way up to PBR now and I Have state finals this weekend...my cousin also rides bulls.. For those who follow PBR my cousin Is the one and only J.B. mauney
