Bone broth is so easy to make, you'll love it, and the thing with it is, the longer you cook it, the better the broth. When I do a quick broth, I cook it for minimum an hour. But two or more hours is ideal. Homey videos are great, the main thing is, you've got time, it's easy to do and you feel inspired to create :)) your true fans will always find you :))

Roast chickens are one of my signature dishes! Cooking anything in the oven is super easy once you get the hang of it. I recommend a meat thermometer. We use a dutch oven to make ours and add carrots, sweet potatoes, leaks etc

You can start with chicken in a bag, it’s a whole chicken in a bag and you just put it in the oven xx

Happy New Year to you all! You did great on the clothing haul. The heart set will be perfect for Valentine’s Day. The flower top and sweater are adorable. Alternating the books is a great idea- the rotation will open up new “adventures”. By the way- I love your new sweater! 🥰

You can use the bones from the chicken you roast to make chicken bone broth.
a great way to begin with bone broth is to make the broth in the slow cooker. That way the water level and temperature stays very consistent. I wish you the best of luck!

Eva, Happy New Year! I think you are the loveliest, best Mum!
On coooking meat. I had a tiny book with all the instructions times for different meats which came from Sainsburys. It was excellent. Try and find something similar or rely on Delia Smith’s instructions.

Loved this vlog Eva! I’m also really into Soster and Grene at the moment so many good bits. Also when you said about Zara kids clothes being difficult with sizing I thought ‘and same for the adult clothes’ 😂 it’s a nightmare especially with trousers sometimes I will buy 3 sizes just to be sure! So lovely to see you with little one she seems like such a happy toddler❤

Love the outfits from Next. Gotta give them a try now! Zara sizes tend to be onthe small end I found, ours T2-3 got grown out quick as well.

I know exactly what you mean regarding chicken anxiety!
Get a stick thermometer - honestly, that takes the anxiety and overthinking out.
Also, I ensure I prep the chicken well away from veggies or any chopping boards that will be helped for veggies.
I once saw a video that showed how washing with soap and water eliminated salmonella from hands which then was pressed on a Petri dish. So that made me rest assure that handwashing and just cleaning my surfaces will eliminate that chicken ick.
Also. Try get whole chickens that show cooking times on the package. It’s so rewarding to cook a roast!

Happy new year 🎉 you seem really happy, you also look great! Loving the extra short bob on you. My tip for roast chicken is to cook breast down to keep the juices in. Love ❤ from Australia. MEL

I also used to have kind of an ick around a whole chicken and turkey. The parts all cut up were fine. So my best suggestion is to start with parts and follow simple recipes like a stew or broiled chicken. When you are comfortable with those, then try a whole bird. Washing your hands and utensils is important, but the main concern is handling the raw meat and then touching other things. The process is the same for all raw meat, not just chicken, so develop habits that become second nature.

I hate touching chicken so I often wear food grade gloves. Also I buy the chickens that have the cooking times on the front of the pack, I think they are from M&S (sorry I don't live in a city so I shop online from Ocado). If you follow the cooking times and temperature on the pack you can't really go wrong....maybe give 5 or 10 minutes over just because you're anxious the first time. As your confidence grows you'll be doing a roast chicken without thinking about it as they are so simple to cook. And yes a meat thermometer too if you like and insert into the thickest part of the bird. Some say the breast but my Nan said it was the thigh so I always take her advice. Good luck!

Did you say "jams?" What does that mean? I only know it in relation to preserves, sweet jams, etc. PS. Have you ever toured the grand mansions in Twickenham? If not, that would be a great vlog sometime! Would be interested.

Your videos are amazing, but I see your channel is struggling to grow. One key reason could be that your content's title and description aren’t optimized for SEO. A few tweaks here can help improve your visibility and rankings

I learnt to make sourdough from this video. Took a bit of time to be confident with it but 5 years on I'm still using this recipe. I just add seeds, nuts and change up the proportion of flours sometimes white and wholemeal or whatever i have. th-cam.com/video/2FVfJTGpXnU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Iuy1_QG7iGfdmAx7
