the mv of this song is a mix of traditional korean and modern korean. The blue fire is the fire of the goblin (a korean folklore character) you must have noticed how traditional the mv is. the boys' rap style in this song, it's a traditional rap style too. People who don't speak Korean hardly notice the difference between normal Korean rap and traditional rap with old words, accents and etc. It's so interesting... There are many more interesting things about this mv. Stray kids is a very interesting and super funny group of eksjjs. They are geniuses doing anything, especially music.

@@mleticiiia Yes and no. All of the members except Chan and Felix will enlist someday. Chan and Felix still have their Australian Citizenship. So they are considered foreigners living in Korea. So they will not have to enlist in the military.

Yesss, please react to more Stray Kids! "3Racha" and "Heyday" are great rap songs with English throughout. Also check out "Mirror Mirror" which is a collab between two Thai rappers, F.HERO and MILLI and Changbin from the Stray Kids. Changbin is an amazing lyricist and rapper and he recorded his part of that song in one take! He is one of Kpop's fastest rappers.

Banchan, who has red hair, trained as a trainee for 7 years before debuting in the group. He is the leader, and he himself put together a group consisting of these guys. They are insanely talented and cool. This is the first and only k-pop band that I love. They have 3 sub-units: 3racha, Vocalracha, densracha. They write songs, music and choreograph themselves. Banchan and Felix are Australians. Felix is blond with blond hair and a deep voice.
The name Thunderous, which is the translation of the word "sorikkun" that is sung in the chorus, traditionally he is a singer who has a long history in which he performs speaking, singing or gesticulating. Pansori, a folkloric genre of music from South Korea,and is introduced by this 'sorikkun'. In English, it's hard to translate this word, so Bang Chan chose this name "Thunderous" because he couldn't find any song with that name and because it gave a literal translation for the chorus word. They also wore red to express the goblin.
Omg I love this so much, the song and the beat is so catchy and I love the raps and vocals.
For me Felix (my bias) just slayed his part also my bias wreckers are BangChan, Changbin and Lee Know.
The choreo is on point like always and I'm just in love with the entire thing words can't begin to describe how I'm felling about this song.
This song is such a hype and really gets me dancing and singing/rapping along.

You guys need to do more stray kids for real! They are amazing🔥 🔥!! I suggest reacting to 3racha unit song from their latest album ‘Maxident’ called “3racha” (there’s no music video). 3racha is the producing team consisting members Bang Chan (leader), Changbin, and Han. These members are the main producers of Stray Kids but all of the rest of Stray Kids members are involved in their music as well! As for Stray Kids as a whole, I suggest Easy, Domino (Korean & English versions), Christmas Evel (a Christmas song), Venom, Maze of Memories and the Tortoise and the Hare (last two don’t have music videos). Stray Kids do a lot of genres and love to experiment with their music so they always have something in store for us but if you do come across a song y’all aren’t really fond of, that’s completely okay, because they’ll for sure have something y’all will definitely love!! Hello, I'm a STAY and really enjoyed ur reaction 😊 idk if you know but Stray kids is a self writing, self composing, self producing group. They even create some of their choreos. And are well know for having one of the best rap line in the kpop industry. I really recommend you to check out their song "Easy" it's full rap and it's fire !

"The bad boys of Korea" is 1) understandable because they do give that vibe with the music and presentation, and 2) _wildly_ inaccurate. 😆 They're pretty much all varying degrees of fluffballs. One of them is widely known as the Emotional Support Kpop Boy even by people far, far outside the fandom; he spends every week giving support and advice and levity to hundreds of thousands of strangers even when some of them say horrific things to him. They've gone viral for crying from pure emotional overload in the middle of concerts...more than once. People from other idols to random stadium custodians have commented on how authentically sweet they are.
They're bad boys on stage and floofs off stage. Even the three savage ones are stealthily nice. They're all just _really_ good with the badass stage personas.
Anime? Stray kids wrote and performed the opening and closing songs for “ Tower of God”.

They're all still in their early to mid twenties so yes, they will eventually have to go to the military, except for Felix & Bang Chan which are both australian and since military service isn't mandatory in australia, they won't have to go.

Just some quick info: the group is an 8-piece (the 9th member left), 2 of the members are Australian so they will not have to do the Korean military service, and the age range is 21-25.
I highly recommend the rap-heavy songs DOMINO (has an English version) and DOUBLE KNOT (has an English version). I also suggest Christmas EveL, BackDoor, 3racha, HEYDAY, Freeze, and Easy.
The guys in SKZ actually are really into anime (animated shows usually originating from Japan) and they even sang 2 OSTs for the anime “Tower of God”, the songs are called “SLUMP” and “TOP” and they sang it into three different languages - Japanese, English, and Korean.
They have 8 members now, the 9th left due to rumours of bullying and inapropriate topics.
It’s mostly aesthetic (the leather pants) and the stylist’s decision not theirs. But I personally chose to try them after observing the same thing on baby moms (“What is it with AAAAALWAYS the leather pants!!!?”)
WHAAAAAT a game changer! For all the puke/spills/food/beverage/object throwing/tumbles/crawling around that usually comes with their jobs, nothing can ever compete with a GOOD pair of (faux) leather pants. And they’re so comfortable I could even sleep in them.
A lot of anime is Japanese but not all. There’s Korean animation and others as well. Also, stray kids age range from 21 to the 25. The leader Bangchan (orange hair) is the oldest. In BTS the youngest (Jungkook) is 25 and the oldest is 30. Thanks for the reaction!

I dunno if anyone mentioned yet, but Stray Kids are actually hella popular internationally, moreso even than in SK itself. They are still rising in popularity everywhere. They continuously break their own previous records with every album they release.
I saw in the first SKZ reaction (Maniac) that Krusty said they reached their peak and I was like, huh??? Nah bro, they still climbing. I'm not hating on you (though that did make me a lil salty, ngl), but some friendly advice- maybe don't say things like that without learning about the group first. A little bit of preliminary research on a new group you're reacting to goes a long way with their fans.

Thank you so much for this reaction! I was waiting a while for this but thanks for being honest once again. I see your friends are starting to understand kpop and the history about it! There are two new girl groups named “New jeans” and “Lesserrafim” and I swear you’ll love them! Their music is very different! I recommend songs from new jeans like attention(their debut song), hype boy, cookie, and hurt (those are all their songs so far but they are so good)! And from lesserrafim I recommend fearless (also their debut song) and antifragile!
I recommend you do a marathon for each group! Where you make one video of watching all 4 of newjeans songs and another for listening to both lessarrafims songs! I hope you enjoy them and can’t wait for you to hear them all! Those two groups are currently VERY popular right now even though they debuted literally like 3 months ago!

Technically, the term “anime” is associated with Japan as that’s what’s most commonly seen being the main audio with subtitles, well there is other types of anime, just not considered to be under that genre, there’s Japanese anime which is what everyone usually thinks of when they hear the word anime
When really there’s so animes that aren’t Japanese anime, there’s American anime too if I’m not mistaken, which is something more commonly not known to have a Japanese audio with like English subtitles or other subtitles, but if you really think about what anime is, you could consider it to be anything animated, so that brings all sorts of things into the mix, but the term anime is associated with being Japanese but it can be something other than Japanese too

1. this MV is based on korean traditional folktales and its characters. The boys here are dokkaebi (goblins) who are trying to defeat the evil and that's why they appear with battle suits and some wounds in their faces. At the end, they win so they perform the Lion Dance to bring good fortune and chase away evil spirits.
2. The song in korean is called "Sorikkun" which refers to a singer of traditional korean music and pansori (korean opera) who usually holds a fan to perform (that's why one of the kids has a fan while singing with the pansori technique). They were expert performers and respected among the people.
So, if you take the time and search for the translation of the song, basically, the kids are saying that THEY are sorikkun (experts musicians and performers) that fight and defeat the evil spirits (the haters).
SKz are pretty smart with the symbolism they use in their lyrics, MVs, and even the titles of their albums and songs. They are the best representation of the 4thGen in kpop.

Anime is Japanese but in the 80s it was introduced to western culture in the form of Pokemon and various other things.... Anime is a word just used to Describe the style in which the cartoon was done so any cartoon can be considered anime but true anime comes from Japan, the Chinese version of anime is donghua... i just wanted to tell you about the military stuff for k-pop groups. most of them will have to go to military, the only two who dont are chan and felix cause they are australian. they still have to all do their time i think it is around the age of 30 or so that they do time.
The only members that aren't required for military enlistment are Bang Chan and Felix since both of them are Aussies🇦🇺

I am late but the anime thing that you sayed,yes they giva a anime vibe bcs that's the conncept every member love's anime and even writted a anime opening for "tower of god"(i think the name is right😅,if not correct me pls) not 1 but 2 song's,a opening and a ending and they did a collab whit the anime idol legend a.k.a LiSA a japanes singer that is very very FAMOUS and i hope the music they did will become a anime opening/ending bcs it's sound's like that one and since they both did and are making anime song's.
"Thunderous" is a diss track, a clapback at the haters who sneer at Stray Kids' so-called "noise music".
Thunderous", about shutting the haters and anti's down, because they don't need to be great. And that Suttle movement with the bent arms, are them Laughing at All of the Haters.
They're saying that they're going to keep experimenting and making the music they want to make, no matter what people say about them.
Now, all of this is actually a parallel to Stray Kids real life story. When they debuted they weren't that much successful. And during all their career they've been heavily criticized for the different sound they bring to kpop. They are just too different for society to like them. This didn't stop them, and after "God's Menu" they've managed to grow a lot, therefore transforming themselves in real life Sorikkun "Thunderous".

Stray Kids is a little different than BTS, because Seungmin, Lee Know, I.N, Han, Changbin and Hyunjin could be required to do military service. Felix is not required to go into the Korean military because he was born and raised in Australia. Bang Chan on the other hand has Australian and Korean citizenship, his requirement of military service depends on what passport/citizenship he chose when he turned 18yrs old

So for the age thing I think the youngest who’s name is IN I think he’s 21 now and the oldest is 25. I believe. And I’m not sure about the age for them to serve in the military. I heard they have til they are 30 but that could just be for bts. But I’m confused because the band that I like they have a member that is going to be turning 29 in Jan. They also have a former member who I think will be turning 30 and he hasn’t served yet. So I heard it is 28 that they have to serve by and I heard bts have til 30. But like I said the band I follow they are turning past 28 and they haven’t served yet so I’m not sure. It still confuses me.
as far as I am aware, the enlistment age is 28. BTS (all of them) filed an extension so it pushed out their enlistment by 2 years.
