Good video, Simon. I was there last year. I offered a couple of my 70's bikes to the VJMC, I was going to bring them from Scotland, but they never got back to me. They were a 1972 Yamaha DT3 Enduro which won best Japanese machine at the Scottish motorcycle show and a 1973 Honda CB360. I have a small collection of classic Japanese bikes from the 70's to early 90's.
Many thanks Alistar, certainly a fantastic day out. I was highly educated on the day with a lot of amazing bikes. Well hopefully you’ll be at the next show. Sounds like you’ve got some great bike in your collection. I plan to have a classic/retro bike some day. 👍
Mate thanks for posting your review of the show I've never been to it ,but it warrants my purchase of lottery tickets 😁☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️ from northern Ireland really appreciate it
Your welcome, certainly a great day out and the weather was good which helps. I missed the other one earlier in the year. There’s another winter one in Lincoln January 5-6 👍
It’s great when we see bikes we started on. I shall be covering the show again this may so il keep a lookout 👀 for you and hopefully get some fotage on this.
Good vibes. Went there on my 1976 V twin Ducati. A great bike but not quite as expensive as the 1974 version. Mind you, it still drew a few glances on the bike park. I always go to Stafford, you showed it well.
Many thanks Phil, what a great bike to ride on. It’s nice to see guys actually riding these bike to. I was super impressed with this show il certainly be attending all the others. 👍
@@thatbikersimon I was riding the Ducati 860 cafe racer again this morning. The country lanes were covered in mud, the A roads were a bit wet and greasey and it shows why I always use Avon tyres. Thanks for your video.
@@philhawley1219 I can’t fault you Phil, another fantastic bike in your collection. We’ve definitely had some nice Autumn days to ride so far. I was over the Peak District so should have a video on this Friday. I came across a few classics on route ( no Ducati though) I can see the appeal now. 🏍💨👍
It’s a tough one Alan with the audio on this one, it’s so loud indoors the mic picks up everything. I have looked into this for future videos tho. Thanks for the feed back 👍
This years event was totally dead. Greedy gate prices, Caterers, and Autojumblers who buy anything worth having before the customers come in. I spent £140 last year, and came home with nothing. Never again. 3 years from now and this show will be gone forever, unless a radical rethink of prices do not come into play.
I’ve just come back from this years show new video tomorrow and it was busy, I think Covid put people off a little but this years show was the best one I’ve been to. 🏍️💨💨💨💨💨
Believe me no bike shine so bright as your beautiful lady. What a lovely companion, forget those bikes! All the best mates!
The old boys do take a shine to her around the classic shows, lucky for me I get to go to all the bike shows 👍😎
Always a great day out
We really enjoyed it, such great bikes and great people 👍
Great video Simon! So nice to see the love, care and attention that gone into those bikes! Thanks for sharing!!
Many thanks for the comment. So many amazing bikes. I’ve got a good line up this year for classic bike shows so stay tuned 👍

😃🤗 Wow, beautiful- what wet-dreams are made of. I thought I had died and gone to bike 🏍heaven. Great 👍stuff.......................
Definitely Alan, some amazing bikes and loads up for sale. It’s a fantastic day out. 👍🏍💨💨💨
Back in the day bikes had not only to be fast, but beautiful! Or even just beautiful and slow lol 😆
😂
Enjoyed watching this mate, thanks for the detail and effort.
Many thanks for the comment Ace of Spades.. and your welcome. I fully enjoyed making this one. 🏍💨💨💨👍
That was great, so many beautiful bikes in such beautiful condition, thanks Simon. These shows are getting fewer and far between here in Oz.
Many thanks Nick. I’m definitely going to attend more of these classic shows, in some ways I prefer them now to the new bikes shows. 👍
Thanks Simon -some great bikes there that i owned. Just a bit far away from Queensland to check out.Cheers Ian
Your welcome Ian, there will be more shows coming up in the near future, that il covering for the channel. 🏍💨💨💨

Nice video man, but can’t believe you walked straight past the RD700 LC!
It’s a tough one trying to get all the bikes in the video. Was that yours? I’m sure I did video one but the audio was a issue on the day.
Good to catch a glimpse of my first bike - a Francis-Barnett Falcon 4 speed. 60 years later, I'm on a 1290 SAS... a bit quicker.

...great video, great bikes,...but by far the best-looking part of the video is your girlfriend,....she is drop dead gorgeous.
She get more attention than the bikes 😂👍
The price of that Ducati is insane 😳 Beautiful bike tho 😍
We all wish we had one of those tucked away, but then again if we did they probably wouldn’t be a rare bike 🏍👍
I remember Geoff Duke was guest of honour there!
I’ve just ordered his book in pursuit of perfection. 👍
Your Mrs @ 5.17 gave that a real caneing .
😂
Love the video but I do wish you could get the volumes balanced. 👍
